nah bruh.

avira and comodo is a power combination.

not to mention malware bytes which is one of the best applications, free or not.
solid combination right there.

what's better than comodo that you use?

 Fuckit, I dont mind using your clown ass to keep the thread bumped. I do the same w/ blunt.
What quality security software do you buy at your "big box" stores? You probably won't answer the question though. Go ahead and create a diversion bro.

Thanks
Ive used some of these for years :yes: thanks to BGOL
I was able to stop wasting money at those  BIG BOX STORES

nah bruh.

avira and comodo is a power combination.

I use the same combination myself in Windoze. However, after a few years of use, I'm thinking of removing Comodo. My NAT router does a pretty good job of being a firewall so I don't really think I need a software firewall.

Great post themainman.

Many of these are horribly rated!!

Best combination:

1. Malwarebtes www.malwarebytes.org (FREE)
2. Norton Antivirus End Point Protection ($40)
Configure it to Delete (Primary) and Quarantine (Secondary)
Enable Start up Scan and configure it to Delete (Primary) and Quarantine
(Secondary)

It has saved me from these Virus Spreading Spammers in here!!!

It says ratings are subjective. Norton Internet Security 2009 is better than than End Point Protection. The main reason for the list is to group all of the free options together for people to choose from. Especially since there are alot of viruses spreading on the board right now.

acur never came back to tell us about his quality security software. damn...

I rather pay for quality. The old saying is true, "You get what you pay for". I don't need free cd's, software etc etc. I paid for Norton's 2009 edition. I gladly pay for what I want and need.

Ehh... well my favorite suite is Norton Internet Security 2009 but for a standalone antivirus, AVG or the free version of Avira Antivir is way better than Norton Antivirus and standalone components are better than all in one suites. Saying you pay for quality is ignorant when some of the free apps rank higher than paid solutions in 3rd party antivirus comparisons.

If you care to do the research instead of just spewing clown shit, here's a link:

AntiVirus Effectiveness Comparison (pdf)

The firm that runs those reports is highly respected in the industry and known for being one of the few truly fair evaluations. On the results page (page 7) I see a few free options that scored much higher than Norton. Go put on about 4 polos (pop all the collars), your peach Kanye x Louis Vuitton sneakers, hop in your 2011 Flying Spur, take your shit back to your local big box store aka Best Buy and download AVG or Avira and a good firewall like Comodo. You are welcome.
