I couldn't find a thread about it so @playahaitian if you got one going already please accept my sincere apologies. I am a MASSIVE fan of The Raid movies and this is a pretty solid looking spiritual successor. I'm trying to see this shit more than "Michael"!


The Furious is a 2025 Hong Kong martial arts action film directed by Kenji Tanigaki, starring Xie Miao as a tradesman who goes on a violent rampage to rescue his kidnapped daughter, aided by a journalist played by Joe Taslim. The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2025, features a pan-Asian cast and is known for its raw, visceral fight choreography, with a US theatrical release planned for May 29, 2026.

I got the same vibes from this as The Raid 2's trailer.



It should be better than a couple of movies that came out last year.

Timo Tjahjanto's(The Night Comes For Us) The Shadow Strays.



Gareth Evans'(The Raid/The Raid 2) Havoc.



I hope we get sequels to The Raid or The Night Comes For Us.
