And Mark Jackson just replayed the 'aggressive D' on Zach Randolph.
While complimenting the Thunder.
Unfortunately, Z-bo is getting fouled BADLY as Thunder post-defenders leave their feet... and crash into him... with their body.
Play after play.
But on the flip-side... any 'aggressive' defense played by Memphis is being whistled as a foul.
Seems this will be the 'theme' of today's game.
This is the MAIN reason why I dislike Mark Jackson, as an NBA commentator.
He's unable to announce NBA games without 'riding a bandwagon' / from a neutral perspective.
And in the 2nd-half his.... TRUE inner 'fanboy' will leap out.
Since the Lakers are out..... Seems he's riding with the Thunder now.

kevin durant is good but there are some glaring weaknesses he has right now
he needs to put on some weight, he gets bodied out of his position on the perimeter too easy right now
he needs to step up his aggressiveness at all times he does it at times but not enough yet
and he needs to get some court vision, they said he averaged 2 assists a game this year....you can accidentally get 2 assists in a quarter..

memphis needs to invest in a shooter this off season, even with rudy they still don't have a player on the perimeter that's deadly from 3, with rudy they have a perimeter player that you have to respect can't leave and can create his own shot...but not a deadly 3 point shooter to open up the lane for randolph and gasol.

The problem is on one end, one team is getting hella blocks & steals...then the other team gets called for playing the same way on the opposite end. Same shit happends to Dallas. In Q1 when MEM was going to the rim & not getting calls, they settled for jumpers. As JVG pointed out, they were bitching too much about no-calls but its hard to press the issue when the refs dictate pace with the whistle.
