It really ain't that much different except for the information you can get from her profile page before you start talking to the bitch. From the information the chick gives up, sometimes you can tell why the bitch is single from just looking at her page. That profile page gives you an idea of what you're about to deal with.

Not sure about now, but circa 2001-2004, there were lots of free ones.... and as for the fake profiles; sure, there are fakes, but that's why if you're smart, you do some due diligence before trying to meet up with a chick.
