Fortune just turned face????? At least its a plausible explanation...

If somebody had told me last week this is who they were I would have called them crazy. And yes the explanation was at least better than I could have expected. If Flair comes back I guess he was apart of this since he kept saying we are they and him being the one to reinstate Kurt Angle.

I thought it was gonna suck until I actually saw it. I read about it on Tuesday. Now, I am interested to see how they work this. If you think about it, it's a way for them to openly admit that everything they have done since Hogan arrived, was garbage, and start from scratch. Now, AJ can go back to the way he wrestled before they locked him in with Flair.

Someone from TNA read my post #3185 on this topic. Two heel factions never work well together and it proved my point. Slowy seeing momentum in TNA. Since Christopher Daniels is back in TNA. TNA/ROH should form a working agreement to let stars work both promotions. WGTT vs. MCMG or a Steve Corino/Ric Flair confrontation

watch i bet now bischoff will be telling security to keep flair out of the building, etc :rolleyes:

Trying to climb that cage with the horseman vs gary hart j-tex .
And earlier Flair told him " to SMARTEN UP Do the right thing don't sign that contract" and then smacked the shit out of him lol . Cause then Luger fill in for the Wrestle War match where Luger turned face when he saved sting from that beatdown with the horseman

Yo, that was a crazy Clash. Plus it had an insane Cactus Jack-Mil Mascaras match where Jack took a sick bump on the concrete floor.

It does seem like they had this as a backup plan same as they did with Immortal (originally "They" was supposed to be the ECW guys not Hogan and Bischoff).
When they're trying TNA can come up with interesting stuff but it's always in the followup where they kill it.

They'll probably never have anything more than the informal working relationship they have now. TNA has nothing to gain from working with ROH. They can pick off their talent anytime they want and ROH has a smaller audience than they do.

Send in your resume. That's a great way to explain Flair not being on tv for the next couple shows.

No more taped fists matches between Knockouts unless they have it better thought out. That was bad and even worse considering the talent of the women involved.

I thought it was a coal miners glove match :D was ton of them back in Mid-South,Memphis and WCCW days

That's been one of Russo's biggest weaknesses even when he was with WCW.One was his ability to make memorable good show. The first show with him and Bischoff in charge was very good but from there it became the same ole same old.The vets went over the youth got buried. And then we had to deal with Stone Cold Hulk Hogan as well.Granted that wasn't entirely on him.

Ok back to the subject of the 2-21-11 promo.
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me but at the 0:23 mark when the lightning flashes... It seems to be a Scorpion etched in the pillar.

What do you think?

Sting has signed a contract with WWE.
He's finally coming to the WWE after all these years.
Rumour is he's going to face the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

That's makes it even worse imo because it took a colossal fuck up just to get them to admit that, which means if they can get away with dumb shit in the future they still will.

This is very true. I do however, feel that this could be the place where they begin to make some positive changes. At least I would like to hope so.

That's actually where I disagree. Not so much in that this isn't place where they could get back on the right track, cause it is. I just don't think Bischoff and Russo are the two that are going to fix things. They haven't shown one thing in the past year that shows that they are the people to fix a bad situations.

I'm actually more interested to see how they fuck this up too.

This Vickie Guerrero shit on Smackdown has gotten beyond old. Shits gone from mildly entertaining to annoying as hell. Until they change I'm done with Smackdown.

True, Russo/Bischoff are the most overrated people in wrestling and imo have never contributed anything. Russo had Austin/Rock two guys who did their own thing and were the biggest names in wrestling, i mean look at what russo did in wcw:smh: Bischoff takes credit for the nwo but he got the idea from the japan group, and hogan hall and nash were the driving force behind that.

That Nitro where they rebooted WCW and introduced the New Blood/Millionaires' Club feud was awesome tv even if a little hard to follow. Actually that show is the most like a Impact episode: so much happens in two hours, it's hard to follow and nothing has a chance to stick.

Still not confirmed and probably not true. The promo video is for Undertaker.
Never trust mainstream media for wrestling news.

That's going to happen anyway. In their defense, other companies have made mistakes and made corrections. This could be an example of that.

Russo took ECW's style and gave it to Vince and Vince bought it and ran to the moon with it.
Bischoff took a great Japanese angle, made it work but had no follow up.

So wait, Cena-Punk/Nexxus is over? I'm glad Punk's going to get a high profile match with Orton and maybe he's the guy who can drag a good ppv match out of Randy, something unseen for almost two years, but the feud with Cena just started and it's already done?
There should be vacancies at WWE and TNA in Creative. Russo and Stephanie should all be out of jobs.
I'm almost scared to see who going to steal the "hypnosis" gag from CZW and do it piss poorly?

Anyone else notice how The Pope's feud with Immortal just vanished? That shit happens too often in TNA. Now the Pope is a heel with no real explanation...That shit irks me. No continuity. This shit is like comic books with all these editions and alternate storylines. Fuck Russo & Stephanie.

Problem with the WWE is that apparently the want writers with no wrestling background.Actually writers who aren't even wrestling fans. And these writers seem unable to figure out what works.Thing is,you can repeat successes of the past as far as storylines as long as you update it and have the right person doing it.These writers try to create magic out of bullshit and do complicated things when it's not necessary.Take 2 wrestlers, give them a reason to dislike or fight one another and let them go at it.And the Raw writers seem lacking when it comes to that. And Russo seems to get the concept but either gives people a dumb reason to go at,ignores histories or just throws too much in it.

Who in the HELL did Dibiase piss off? I have not seen this dude win a match in months. What a freaking waste. He has the potential to do something big in the company...

After seeing Mark Henry get a beatdown pop on Sheamus just furthers the notion that he should return to being a monster heel:yes:.

Been questioning that for a while myself. But that's what happens when you have shitty bookers :smh:

So the Pope is suppose to be a heel. I couldn't even figure it out and I didn't see a reason why I should care.
It seems like the crowd on the last impact must have been feeling like me because the were practically asleep during that promo with him and Bubba Ray.

Did you watch last night? As usual cena takes out all of nexus and they have yet to figure out 3>1 , but vince just showed that supercena is here to stay:hmm:

I don't have much of a problem with that because it's very well known that ecw and wwe were working partners since 95.

Turning the Pope makes no sense at all. Dude is one of the most popular guys on the roster. They only turned him face because TNA fans took to him so strongly. Him vs. Joe could be a very good feud but it could be a good face vs. face feud.
I hope they don't turn AJ again for at least three years. He's had a turn almost every year.

I actually know a guy who was rejected from the WWE Creative team because he told them he was a long time fan. He had gotten through various interview stages but when he sent them critiques on their television shows and what he would do differently (a part of the interview process back then), he never heard from them again, not even a "nevermind".

The Impact crowd hasn't bought in and don't want to boo Pope and it's killing his heat.
Russo (I know it's a committee but he's in charge) likes to make changes for the sake of change even if it doesn't make sense or goes against a character's natural personality.

As a monster heel or even face, Henry could have been a main eventer. Now he's a joke and if a guy loses to him, you know they're a joke too (see: Usos and Tyson Kidd).

Oh, I got Cena beating Miz and Del Rio beating Edge at Mania.
I'm pleasantly surprised that Miz will probably be the champ in Atlanta but I don't see him surviving Cena, another reason them squashing him to Cena last year was garbage. If Miz had beaten Cena in that feud, John would be the underdog going in.
