A Championship caliber team IMO is a team thats CAPABLE of winning a trophy. Basically I think none of the top 6 teams out east can win a 7 game series against a healthy Lakers or Spurs team. I hate Kobe and I think the Spurs are the most boring team to win a title... but I think the trophy wil go to one of those two. Depending on what the Mavs do after the break....it might go to them. Bottom line is i dont see a title going to a team out East this year.

Based off what each team has right now..and what they might have in the future....I think the next team to win a trophy out the east will be the Heat...after that maybe the Bulls..if we can get another scorer to accompany Rose.

As for the Celtics...right now your team is good and better than the teams below them...but I think their days of winning titles with the team that they have is over. I could be wrong..but thats how I honestly feel.

I dont know the contract situation over in Boston, but If I were the manager of the Celtics, after this season I would seriously start considering preparing for the future; Start trading some dead weight and start building around Rondo.

The celtics are the best team in the east, and they have not played with their starting five or backup point guard yet. Perkins will be back Feb. 5th. and Delante will be back mid of February.

Celtics beat the spurs without KG and Perkins.
Celtics will play the lakers( in LA) on sunday(1-30-2011) on national TV for everyone to see that they are the champions.

As for the celtics building for the future.
Danny ainge has that all mapped out.
all celtics players(all) contracts end next year.
The celtics only have two players signed past next year.
That is paul pierce and rondo for two years beyond next year.
He has already prepared for the future.

Well because I said my Bulls would more than likely struggle and lose tonight because the Mavs just came off a win versus the Lakers, they were somewhat all healthy and we were missing both Boozer and Noah. Deng never has been consistent...and I think Rose is granted a "flat" game considering the fact that he's been the main one carrying the team scoring wise most of the season.

IMO....the team as a whole has been flat. Not tryna make excuses...but their schedule has been hectic. 16 games in the month of January. Really? Im surprised theyve been able to win 31 games so far considering what theyve been going through.
