Anne hathaway to play selina kyle in the dark knight rises!

damn i miss this part "Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies."

shit just got real

Bane >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Killer Croc wouldn't be a bad choice of villain neither.

I wish they went with Deadshot instead. An anti-Batman "fighting" crime but in reality trying to hunt/kill Batman would have been ill.

Blunt what did you think of Inception?
Let me answer for you.

Blunt won't respond (though not it possibly will since challenged) because Blunt only responds contrary to the sentiment of the majority of posters in a thread.

Since you tossed out a question on a film that wasn't talked about in this particular thread, you'd get a milquetoast response at best, and more likely no response at all.

Now, if there were say five to seven posts discussing Inception positively, you'd probably get a response with a negative tilt. And Vice versa.

Great choices. It's Christopher Nolan. His resume speaks for itself. Memento, The Prestige, Batman Begins.... I trust dude entirely.:yes::yes:

i thought he wore a metallic suit to support his back while it healed, if that isnt true where the fuck did i get that from? lol.

he got someone else (jean paul valley )to be batman while he was recuperating. bruce considered retiring and letting jean take over. jean defeated bain andovertime he made various enhancements to the suit until it was literally a suit of armour. what bruce didn't know was that jean was fucked in the head, and slowly started to lose his mind. the turning point was when he almost killed robin (tim drake). bruce had to painstakingly retrain himself to take the 'mantle of the bat back'. eventually an extremely epic battle was fought between the batmen (with robin, nightwing and catwoman) all over gotham, finally ending in the batcave. believe me that was my fav. batman storyline ever.

Nolan ain't fuckin' around.

Both are great, inspired choices.

Best thing about Nolan is that he trusts the people he works with, and vice-versa. Cool to see him going back to Hardy again (after being involved with Inception as well). * Just think - TOM HARDY put on 42lbs of muscle (3 stone) for BRONSON.

For those who haven't seen it yet - make sure to watch BRONSON. It's a BGOL fan fave for good reason. Wild shit! He put on 3 stone (42 lbs) for the role. Watched it with my dad last month.

As of October 2010, he has signed on to play a lead role in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. On January 19, 2011 it was confirmed he would be playing Bane.[13]
[edit] Personal life

Hardy married Sarah Ward in 1999, but they divorced some time later. He has a son, Louis Thomas Hardy (born 8 April 2008), with ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed.[14] In July 2010, Hardy proposed to actress Charlotte Riley after a year of dating.[15]

Hardy also battled alcoholism and a crack cocaine addiction in his early- to mid-twenties, but has been sober since 2003.[16]

In early 2009, Hardy starred in the film Bronson, about the real-life prisoner Charles Bronson, who has spent most of his adult life in solitary confinement. For the film, he put on three stone of muscle.[5]

So, in Nolan's Universe, there is no Lazarus Pit for Ra's Al Ghul to keep his life going, and no meta-humans fucking shit up, and no mentions of anything other shit going on in lets say Metropolis, Coast and Star Cities? Central City?

Don't know about the Lazarus Pit, but it's implied in Batman Begins that Ra's has been at it for a while.

There's no meta humans, and none of those cities exist in his world.

That kinda limits shit

And that means no introducing a Robin who is around 12-14 instead of a 20 yr old

But he didnt want to keep making these movies neither as well

nope he said this batman story has a ending
I think his Batman story has an ending, however there are rumors that director Darren Aronofsky could take the reigns of the next Batman series. Aronofsky and Nolan are similar directors and I could see him continuing the franchise and making it his own as well. In fact, Aronofsky wrote a Batman screenplay that was never made, however it is being made into a comic. Just a few days ago, he made mention that there is a possibility of making that comic, if successful, into a film......

I don't think Anne can cut it as Catwoman. She may pull off Selina but she has never done anything remotely close to Catwoman. She's made a career of being meek and mild. I just can't see her as aggressive. And she is NOT sexy - she's attractive. There's a difference.
