I may not always agree with Tom Jackson, but he's far from a coon. He just believes men should conduct themselves a certain way. When did being old school become "uncle tom"?:hmm:

Tom Jackson is a decent cat and makes solid points in his analysis. However, I lost respect for him and Michael Irvin when they remained silent on the set after Rush Limbaugh's racist comments about McNabb. I know they probably didn't want to sacrifice their jobs for attacking Limbaugh full blast on live TV, but their inaction spoke volumes to me.
 
I'm not siding with Fisher necessarily but I do think the Titans are doing the right thing. Vince has not matured and seems to feel entitled. Siding with him in this would have been all bad in the long run.

As for Tom Jackson...it's not that he's critical of brothers, etc. I just don't think he's so quick to take their white counterparts in the league to task when they exhibit selfish/diva like behavior, etc. Maybe that's changed, as I only watch ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown when NFL Gameday Morning is at a commercial break and I see they're about to talk about the Falcons.

99 QB rtg, 60 comp %, 10TD to 3 INT...he was progressing. He was protecting the ball, which is all they ask. The game that was the sign of bullshit was the Pittsburgh game. He was benched in a close game, he had 2 turnovers in a close game. The year before Collins had a pick & fumble and was allowed to play the whole game. Dude was 8-5, 9-6, 1-0, 8-2, & 5-3 as a starter. He's not going to throw a gang of yards, but he's going to give a team a chance to win the game. Throwing the pads was the wrong thing to do. He lost it, added to his perception, now he has to get it back.
 
I gotta agree with Nzinga on this one.I never respected Herm after he rode of Terrell Owens for that commercial.The only problem people had with that commercial was that it was a black man with a white woman.There were far more racy commercials than that shit.Then coon ass Herm gets on complaining that his kids were watching it and acted like it was full on porn.
