Getting Rid Of Jay Cutler And Brandon Marshall Was Genius Of Josh McDaniels

...........

I believe the reason why Hillis was let go was because Hillis was not gonna kiss McDummy's ass....just look at the players that had a problem with the coach Cutler,Marshall, Hillis,Scheffler and Stokely their is no way all those players all of a sudden have questionable character especially Stokely.

We simply didn't need Stokley anymore that's why he was cut; had nothing to do with character issues. Have you forgotten we are deep as fuck at Receiver. Llyod, Royal, Gaffney, Thomas with Decker and Willis in waiting.

I'm glad you like him; In Denver we like having 5 targets to throw to instead of forcing the ball into 1.

And in time, hopefully as my team acquires more talent we can have similar options. Point is it would seem like the deal worked out for both teams

Ummm, didn't ya'll LOSE that game???

And then AGAIN Monday night???

Two blowouts in back-to-back games @ home is NOT a good look, trust me I know!!!

We did, but what does that have to do with us getting B.Marshall on our team?

I just wanna say thanks for B. Marshall as of now he has been a role model. M. Irvin has personally taken him under his wings and he's easily the best receiver we've had in Miami for awhile ask A.Cromartie!

The  !

There is no laughter after a loss, no matter how many yards you get!

You think T.O. had a smile on his face after his 200 yard performance in a loss Sunday???

What been impressive is out of 175 attempts only 57 of Orton's passes have been incompletions; dude has completed 118 passes out of 175. Sure he's throwing the ball more but still has a higher completion rate than Cutler. If Cutler had that many attempts he would have 11 picks by now.

That's where that yds/attempt comes into play. Of course throwing shorter passes more often will raise your completion %.

The current QB rating formula has never been a accurate reflection of how a QB performs on the field. The ratings don’t factor in blitzes, broken routes, dropped balls, fumbles, a lot of things. For a more intelligent analysis on QB statistics go here.

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb

So you 'd rather use hypothetical stats, as opposed to real stats?

(Orton)8.1 to (Cutler)8.9; .8 of a yard difference. Gee, Cutler is really blowing Orton away in yds/attempt.

What's hypothetical about it; real stats are used however the formula (in determining a QB's performance on the field) is different and more accurate.

When you factor in 75 more attempts, thats very significant.

Bottom Line...they both have 6 TDs and 3 INTs, except Cutler was able to produce 6TDs on 75 less pass attempts. Therefore, he's more efficient.

They're comparing the difference between the average backup and a starter!! How is that more accurate than qb rating????

Ahhhh YES
So much has changed since this terrible thread was created.

Where is that good ol Bronco fan support?
With yall terrible ass team!

:lol::lol:After 6 games the bandwagon was full....

Now poor Josh ain't got a friend in the world:lol::lol::lol:

Nobody succeeds when they leave Belicheat:lol:

Cold blooded!!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Nothing cold blooded about it. It's only cold blooded if you actually believe the Broncos were going to be a playoff team this season which I didn't. The Broncos are rebuilding so they're record should be of no surprise to anyone. It would be different if the talk was them going to the playoffs but that was never the case.

yeah fam you have my respect because you are a true fan

thread is still funny though

What's funny about it? At the QB and WR position(s) the Broncos were better without Cutler and Marshall. That's a fact. The problem with the Broncos is everything else sucks, defense, running backs, etc.

Thats the one thing I dont understand...we is a very explosive offense but McDummy didnt do shit in the draft for the defense I understand its not totally his fault but to continue to draft offense players when its not our need

1. McDaniels had to get rid of Jay Cutler or as he's called in many circles "Backfoot Jay", because he's a poor decision maker; which results from lack of patience and discipline reading defenses and poor foot mechanics (throwing off the back foot constantly). Five years in the NFL and he's shown inability to improve in this area.

Sure, an argument can be made that he doesn't have the tools he had in Denver (Wide receivers, O-line, coaching, etc) but the problem is he's making the same stupid reads and throws he made when he was in Denver. This isn't all on lack of tools this is what Cutler is. Josh McDaniels wisely knew that Cutler wouldn't be the right fit for his system so out of town Cutler went. Now Cutler can enjoy getting killed in Mike Martz's system.

2. Guess who's leading the league in passing? It's not Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, or Drew Brees it's Kyle "Motherfuckin" Orton; you know the forgotten guy in the Cutler trade. I kept telling people Kyle Orton would do well in McDaniels's system but nobody was having that. I heard all the nonsense "You guys shouldn't have traded Cutler, blah, blah, blah". The way people were sucking Cutler's dick you would've thought we were trading a QB that won 4 Superbowls, but that wasn't the case. Once you start thinking with logic instead of emotion you could see the whole picture of McDaniels plan.

3. Brandon Marshall had to go because "the system" isn't about one guy. As talented as Marshall is once you start focusing your offense around one person you lose balance. Marshall made it about him when it should be about the team. What's great about "the system" is the open man is the one that gets thrown the ball. Lloyd, Royal, Gaffney, Thomas all can get open and Orton has spread the ball around. People said our passing offense wouldn't be shit after Marshall was traded; who's laughing now.

:lol:Guess time waits for no man....

But heres what I find funny. He praises Dude for getting rid of Cutler for having poor mechanics... Yet he thinks hes a genius for drafting Tebow in the first round... WHO HAS EVEN WORSE MECHANICS, and a cooked noodle for an arm, with other "mechanically" sound QBs still on the board. He says dude was right for getting rid of Marshall because he doesnt believe in the team, but doesnt think that McDaniels ego was bigger than the same team concept hes trying to create. He says dude needs more time, but his team has gotten worse, and his offense is starting to fade and thats supposed to be his area of expertise. Im convinced Mastermind is really just a McDaniels groupie and not a fan of the Broncos. Anyone could see the players didnt want to play for him, he made questionable moves, and wasnt producing on the field... That means its time to go... It was gonna be hard to bounce back from how he started and its obvious he never earned the respect of the players. Without that I dont care how good of a coach YOU think you are, if you cant get the respect of the locker room youre dead in the water. Everybody isnt cut out to be a HC.

How so; Kyle Orton and Brandon Llyod are having a better season than Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall. That's the bottom line! End thread!

Well... In a team sport, Cutler is 9-3 and Marshall is 6-6... Orton and Lloyd are 3-9... Whos having the better season???

This thread wasn't about what team is doing better; that much is obvious.

they are not doing better then last season........are u so fucking in love with the team to the point u cant see how bad they are ? your like a bitch thats with a nigga that keeps beating her ass. let it go you were wrong

Dude, Kyle Orton and Brandon Llyod are having better statistical seasons than Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall. That's a fact! The fuck are you talking about?

THATS COLD-BLOODED:lol::lol::lol::lol:

i like orton when he was here in CHi but i still think Cutler fits the Bears team better, but Im glad Orton and Lloyd are having good seasons. I rather have McDummy as off. coordinator than goofy former bears off. coordinator ron turd-ner. Orton and Lloyd are finally in a real pro offensive scheme and they are shining

So stats are worth more than victories to you? I guess you have to hang your hat on something, huh

Hang my hat on something? The stats of the four players mentioned was why this thread was created in the first place. If I was going for the whole team element mantra I would've went into detail on the Broncos and Bears as teams. I already stated in previous threads that the Broncos were rebuilding as a team and weren't going to be good, so why would I create a thread and beat my chest about the Broncos being a great team and the Bears being a poor team? Obviously that wouldn't make much sense. In my opinion the Broncos upgraded at the QB and WR positions the problem is they didn't upgrade the defense.

you are the forest gump of this board. So are steve spurrier qb's from flordia better then joe montana, tom brady they never put up big stats ? stats mean nothing its all about the system
