Honestly have the blacks in Philly given up?

I say that all the Blacks in Philly have given up, but I can damn sure tell you the women have. My God, I moved back 6 months ago and have never seen so many fat brawds in all my life. :smh:

Right now on TV a mother used her 6 year old son to pick pocket students on Penn's campus. His uncle (another nigga) was also arrested

Then they interview the family members and the ignorant aunt is upset but cant get through a live Television issue without using foul language which had to be bleeped out.

They have a book of the 150 most wanted criminals in philly thats being handed out to citizens. Pages and pages of ignorant low life niggas that have destroyed others peoples lives make up the book.

I think the most ignorant and least attractive slaves were dropped of in philly and have never left. If you look at the physical appearance of blacks in philly you really start to believe this has to be genetic:smh

Honestly if you could bulldoze North Philly, Southwest, West, West Oak lane, The Badlands, The Bottoms....aw fuck it, Philly needs a cleansing of Katrina porportions. A flood that could just wipe out the niggas and white blue collar trash though

But besides the violent niggas philly has some of the ugliest woman black and white I've ever seen. Check out a news feed from philly and see how ugly the reporters are. Even the fucking weather women are 3's and 4's at best. Some are not even fuckable. And I left NY for this shit

I struggle to believe that someone even thinks like this, let alone another brother:rolleyes:...but this is bgol, so i'm not surprised. You need to understand that many elements make up a situation.....and if you can't understand that, and don't strive to be a part of the answer, than you are part of the problem.....period.....brother:rolleyes:

Philly isn't that bad. Hell the summer seemed quite tame. The problem with this city like with all other cities are the fact that the youth does not have anything to live for. The city has to give them a real alternative solution. I know creating jobs isn't that easy. But with all those Bucks/Montco people trying to move back into the city, we can force the issue now. There needs to be a quota.

Philly is a great city. The blacks out here in this city make it hard. 45 year old kats rocking their caps back wards with thug beards. Fucking animals out here.

Sheeiitt I live in Jersey and work in Downtown Philly!!! I can't front, a lot of the youth over there are pains in the ass!!! I carry my ass to work on the train, get off that motherfucker, walk two blocks to my office. Stay my ass in it for the most part, I periodically take a 'Brief' stroll at lunchtime, and at the end of the day, get my Ass back to the train and carry my ass back to Jersey!!! I spend at most, 20 minutes a day actually out and about in Philly, Fuck it!!!

cosign. To me there is a serious shortage of dime pieces out here too because of all the fucking knuckle heads. Its not like other cities where you see a fine women 1 out of 4 times. Here it may be a fine women seen once a month...maybe

I lived in West Philly for 15 years and shit was rough. I moved to Mt. Airy recently and it is a different world. Progressive blacks that live in the neighborhood and are successful. Every city got hoods.

All of the philly people I met in College come from the good parts, but would somebody please tell me where the hell they are???

I been going back and forth to Philly to visit family my entire life, and I have never been to a good neighborhood before, with the exeption of the area around 40th St.

40th and what?:confused::confused::confused:

:lol::lol:All this hating on Philly is laughable. So all of Philly is a dump. Man, I live in Manayunk. Nice neighborhood. Parts of Mt. Airy, parts around Fairmount. We gotta school'em doggish.

i didnt say that he said 40th street i'm trying to figure out where. Just because the students have begun to cross over spring garden further into west philly doesnt mean the neighborhood got better it just means parking got worst.

Yeah, I know you didn't say it. I'm just saying I know we both live in Philly and fwilla basically said all of Philly was bad. We gotta represent is all. Sounds like he was near University City.

Around Walnut St. by the Fresh Grocer and all of that. I like it over there.

it is better down there, still gets kind of wild around there at night though especially when a new "black" movie comes out. They do make good cheese steaks and other kinds of sandwiches in THAT fresh grocery. Way way better than the one on 57th i believe.

Whoa I jus said I never been exposed to the good parts.

My big sis is like my second mom and she'd lived in Philly my whole life. On the following blocks:

36th and Spring Garden (decent but too close to The Bottom)

Marston and Allegheny :smh:

54th and Norfolk, off of Bmore Ave

Now she's on Pine St in the 50's (I wont give her coordinates) and it's ok but it's too live I don't like my nephews exposed to all of that.

Yea the one on 57th is the one I go to when I'm in Philly. Terrible grocery store. Makes you appreciate a good Supermarket.

Sheeeeessssshhh. You ain't lying. Marston and Allegheny, 54th and Norfolk...:lol: Yeah, man. Need that heater with you up those parts of North Philly and West Philly, respectively. Naw, man. No beef. There are good parts of Philly, though. I'm originally from New York and we moved down here to when in high school. Been here ever since. Like every major city, it has it's flaws.

Nah she ain;t own it. A friend is gettin' good Real Estate money in Philly though.

Word.

Actually I like those condos the got around South St. too.

Maybe I exaggerated a little, but the vast majority of my experiences in Philly have been in the bad parts, and the fact that 90% of the people I meet from philly outside of philly aren't from those parts says alot about your prospects of making it outof there.

the areas u named are nice, especially Fairmount. But the fake suni grimey muslims and their litter rob folks up there all the time. I wish I could borrow the powers of storm from Xmen and send a tsunami through North Philly then re-populate it with folks from Northern Liberties.

You know, in some instances, Section 8 should have a tougher lottery, becuase I remember beign selected and I didn't care for it, it was that damn easy. they don't even force you to look for a fucking job. fuck that. I'd have your ass inspected every friday night, fuck the day time. Sometimes these social programs are cool, but some people take advantage of that shit.
becuase of these Sorry mothafuckas neighborhoods are all shot to shit and people can't live in peace anymore.

I'm snitchin' on any mofo in my apartment building bringing some bullshit trying to bring havoc to my apt. Shit, if you let them, they'll break into your place if you don't say anything.

We have to start standing up to our own people. make them take responsibility for their own actions. it starts with the people.

that's the problem right there, police our own

As I said, I live in Mt. Airy. My wife and I bought a 7 bedroom home with a front yard and a huge back yard. Every house on my block is along those same lines. If you go up City Line Avenue and go up Lincoln Drive you'll hit Mt. Airy. If you take a right you'll go to East Mt. Airy where I live. If you take a left you go to West Mt. Airy where the houses are bigger and the cars are nicer. These are mixed neighborhoods with mostly African Americans. There are other nice places in Philly to live also like, Wynnefield (where Wil Smith and Wilt Chamberlain grew up)Manayunk, Society Hill and the greater northeast.

Every city has fucked up places and every city has nice ones. As for the dude who says he can't find a good lookin woman I say it might just be him cause I got an ex model who's a doctor.

The one flaw I will say that is not unique to Philly but is pronounced here is a phenomenon called the "Rule of the 3 mile radius". This is when people, mostly from small rural towns or densely populated urban areas, are under the assumption that nothing worth anything can happen outside of the 3 mile radius around their neighborhood. They make excuses for not wanting something better like; People from the suburbs are soft, corny, sellouts, think they're white, etc. Its a lie they tell themselves to make things where they are livable. They have convinced themselves that living in poverty and violence is better. It also keeps a healthy separation between the people who have nice things and live in nice areas and the people who struggle.

This is real shit. I mentor black and hispanic youth and this is one of the hardest things to overcome. Poor people have been conditioned to think that they don't deserve better. In their minds, striving for better makes you a sell out et al. the craziest thing is that the biggest "haters" are often parents/family. Shit is super sad. :smh:

I just moved to philly from Orlando......at first after hearing all the negative stuff i was really careful about stuff.

Now after Being here awhile,I like Philly its a great city, with lots of potential to be even more!!

I dont live in the hood though, and i dont go lookin for trouble either. I get food in the hood then i bounce.

Philly is like any city with good and bad hoods. Whats makes Philly unique is that you could be in a good hood then like 4 blocks around the corner is really bad hood.

Most american cities are just like philly all the blacks live in the city southside, whites in the suburbs and northeast or northwest area........Every major american city is like this. Yes even Atlanta the black mecca is like this.

Lots of education and Jobs can be found in philadelphia. But you cannot have no skills and complain about not getting a job. Dont make no sense.

In African american history Philly is an important city. The Largest american city with a black major.Philly is Probably the most important black city on the east coast. If the blacks own the real estate in philadelphia county they would be millionaires.Blacks in this city can do well but you gotta get the mindset to change in the poorer neighborhoods.

There are Nice looking women in philly also..ya'll must be hangin around the wrong circles.:smh:

On the Real Philly location on the east coast between DC and NY is perfect. Real estate aint that bad either yet. Dont let the media push you away from a really nice city. Dont believe the hype.
