In Japan it was considered an honor to commit suicide than getting captured by your enemy especially during the samurai period
But isn't that code only for Samurais? I think its called senpukto, and you do it before your enemy catches you not after, also you do it in the midst of battle not when the battle's over!

Idk about shinobi, but that goes for samurai. Like someone else posted, most shinobi would have tried to take out as many of their enemies before dying themselves.

At first they were nothing more that National guardsmen, hired to protect land, they and were compensated with land. The Lords of the land would hire multiple groups of Samurai dividing their land so much that the Samurai just took it and eventually became the politicians themselves.
Ah now that movie the Last Samurai makes more sense, still hated the blasted show, how in the Fuck can a little white boy who now began training to be a Japanese Swordfighter is on the same level as the mofos who are training every day of their lives, further more, he's the only person to have survived the onslaught of his 'clan' bullshit !!!
yeah but the majority of the samurais never turned lords, most of them assimilated into society because they there were no work for them

Np. Sorry, but I don't read Bleach. I hear many people talk about it & like it though. I just read Naruto, One Piece, & Berserk. I got so much stuff to read (Marvel/DC(some) & indie) that I don't pick up anymore books for now.

The Last Samurai was good in its power structure portrayal amongst other things, except for the fact that they portrayed the last samurai as a fucking white dude! That in itself was BS & blasphemous!
I wonder how Japanese people felt about it when it was released. Some Hollywood/US BS.

@ Kenshin, well I'm certain since the US dropped the bomb on them they haven't been the same, so seeing their 'white king' on film may not have been such a bad thing for them, but for me loving their culture seeing that shit and the fact that Hollywood is so racial man that tripped me off !

Paper cuts hurt like a motherfucker she just might be able to pull it off. I do hope she puts up a quality fight, we've seen Jiraya students action and they haven't disappointed (at least the ones not named Naruto) and I don't think she will.

Most ppls theories is its the 'real' madara, but I'm thinking for him to be so shook, why can't it be the Sage of the Six Paths? To me that should've been the only person that would've made him scared, but watching his arse get beat from almost everyone I really wonder if he's ins't all Bark and no Bite, every fight that he's had to date his lil Pansy Arse is always running away, blasted Chi Chi Man.
