You need a developer which can be a bit pricey and then apple has to approve it which takes 2-4 weeks.

I have a really good developer who has hook up with Apple, so I sort of got fast tracked.

I say charge $1.99, You can make a easy $7,000 per month.


ITunes/App Store is a cash cow for software developers those thats in the know.

I Make over $30,000 a month. Not to brag or anything.

I wish Android/Google would make there payment system easy like apple so users can buy more apps.

As an independent site my readership is a loyal base, but I am the biggest black own sports blog in the country. So my niche is my angle.

I have exclusive content on the app that you can't get on the site. I sold 50 just off one tweet.

For every $2 I make $1.19..the goal is to sale 100-200 a month...that is basically an extra $1200-2400 in revenue on the year.

I consider that clean money

Yes I am black. The developer works for a huge company that handles many Apps including that Bieber one.

Do not limit yourself to the iOS platform alone. Create the app for Android devices too, and RIM (BlackBerry). Be on the lookout for Windows Phone 7 too.

I market share in other ventures. I have several different revenue streams. When you dealing with online media and you are independent the only way to make money is to hustle.

No different than independent rapper.
