Silva's movement tonight looked awful....the rib injury has to be legit b/c Anderson was looking like his boy, Munoz, tonight on the feet. He still dropped Chael with a nasty overhand elbow:eek: and later on went for the Tony Fryklund(you know the elbow ;) ) but missed.

Silva basically Big Nogged Chael tonight...CLASSIC fight. Silva better get all the way healthy b/f he fights Vitor b/c Anderson's stand up looking that ass against Belfort will get him smoked.

I don't think they will give an immediate rematch to Sonnen because Vitor Belfort has been waiting. Plus Sonnen know's if he gets a rematch with Silva he will get knocked out

Mark Munoz is a better wrestler than Rashad (college champ) ..... plus he coached wrestling ....... Sliva wrestling will never match Sonnen ..... seemed like his stratergy was look for submissions off his back ..and it worked
 
I think the steriod police have lightened up and Hughes is back on the juice. I will wait til his next fight to make a final judgement

I agree, he may not avoid takedowns the entire time, cuz that's always been his weakness, but Sonnen stood long enough to get knocked out under normal circumstances. You can tell Anderson knew not to play with this dude, cause he came out more agressive than normal in round one.
 
Sorry but I gotta say this;
1. If you talk all that shit, beat a person all them rounds and then get caught in a choke...you are a freaking loser.....He lost, Anderson kicked his ass. It makes Sonnen look worse to me for not being able to back that shid up...he freaking lost. You can't talk all that shit and lose no matter what. Anything he says about this fight after it is whinng.
2. Anderson displayed greatness by getting his azz whooped and exploiting big mouth's mistake. That is what champions do. Anderson was not talking all that shit, he did what champions do win.
3. Sonnen is no champion and has no class. Talked all that shit, got into a world of hurt tapped and then tried to fake the funk. Screw this guy. Anderson fought him with an injury and did not complain, assCAC tapped and went bitch. Some of yall need to get some perspective.:smh:

That was the best comeback i ever seen. Silva was getting his ass kicked but you can never count out a BJJ blackbelt.

Sonnen has been submitted a few times with triangles while in someone's guard.

Bingo, he talented, but draining himself and trying to slim up too much doesn't work for him, he needs to go up and be his natural weight. He's way too drained and loses explosiveness.

I think he just needs to stay in better shape between fights, get on some Jerry Rice shit. He just doesn't have the luxury to go up and down on his weight like other fighters.

I know he tagged, him, but I know for sure Joe and Goldy were yelling at some big shots that missed or Silva rolled with the elbow or punch...on another note, Sonnen is cutting up at the presser.:lol:

Yeah he def has another Star on his hands. Dana might wait a little before giving Sonnen his rematch. If he gets demolished by Anderson in a rematch tonight wil seem like a fluke.

Rashad is more explosive than Munoz. Yeah Silva was looking for the submission most of the fight and finally got it.

I don't think that fight will ever happen. Bones next opponent might be Forrest Griffin. Silva's ribs were hurt that's why got muscled around that way. If your ribs are hurt you're not gonna move around and fight at a 100%.

Chael was still talking some of that good shit at the press conference, but he was very classy.

They gotta rematch Chael and Silva IMMEDIATELY...I just think putting Silva against the one guy that has pushed him like this in the UFC on the Super Bowl weekend ppv would be HUGE. I know Chael lost by stoppage and I know that Vitor is a credible, intriguing opponent but the re-match could be on some epic sh!#...and yeah, if he's healthy, I think Anderson would nuke him but nobody has done Anderson like that since like 2004-2005...

I'm sure there's alot of ppl that think Chael is still the no.2 contender anyway b/c of how great he looked.

The UFC has booked weirder title fights...either way, Belfort or Sonnen, I'm happy.
