PLEASE... Guitar players... PLEASE ... i need the chords to this jam

Just look at my music threads where I have received threats of violence, to you calling me a troll... I am not sure whom you are trying to impress with your posturing...

No, I asked you to show me a post where I criticized the music you posted, NOT YOU yourself. The problem is that I asked you to prove that what you were saying wasn't bullshit, which you couldn't do, because you can't read and you are totally insane.

Remember, I m talking about examples of actual instances, not things you imagined or thought I may have been trying to say.
Like I said, if you can't find one post of me criticizing the music you have posted (which you accused me of) then you should be permabanned. If you can, I will happily take the ban. I saw you snooping through the Lenny Kravitz thread trying to catch me out but you failed.

Nzinga has shown what a pussy he is.

Moving on, I might as well shout out my boys from South London. They have this style called 'Electro Groove'.

That is not the point. You said nothing about the worse sound in the original video. You only complain when the music is from someone else. You do not look for perfection in your own music, you do not look even for goodness..

Why are you even bringing up the first video?! I don't even like that song! So, to justify your post, you match shit with shit. It's a bad recording! Deal with it! I said liked the playing in your post, now go sit your drunk ass down somewhere!

Help you jack this niggas chord progression.

Also, break the scales down into numbers, 1 - 8. 8 being the octave of the 1. That way, when you're trying to break down chords, you'll be able to identify the notes within that chord. For instance, a C chord should be 1,3,5.

C major anyway ;)

This is painful... But then again, if you give a monkey a type writer, in a hundred years it might right a novel. As awful as this sound is, hopefully one day these men will come up with decent sound...

:smh: Are you still ignoring the fact I never criticized any music you posted? You've proven to everyone here (as if they needed more proof) what a bitch you are. Well done for fucking up this thread.

Nzinga, please! A song doesn't have to be complicated to be good. In fact many of the greatest songs are timeless due to their melody, not their composition. Stop trolling.

this thread has extended into bullshit, all the OP asked for was help with chords... *sigh*...

Yo wood, how long you been playin bass?

As much as people have shitted on my post, I did them a favour by telling them the truth. That guitar is crap, your musicians are bad, and these kids in this clip, with two crude home made instruments (they made themselves), are far better than that shit you just posted, of your homeboys in South London.

Let me post a music thread and see what all of you do, or better still, lets look at one of my old music thread. All I did was say the truth.

Exactly. Listen to the bass in this song. It has been sampled by so many musicians but it is simple in its execution.

The guy playing percussion is the only one in that vid worth a shit. At least he's keeping time. The "bassist" is playing an open string, and the "guitarist" is only playing one string. For now, I think Keziah Jones' job is safe.

I am not asking for complication. That would go against the grain of what I stand for. The greatest musician in the history of all men, the grandmaster (an awarded title by the way) Luambo Franco, always told all the superstar guitar players in TP OK Jazz to keep it simple. "Bulundwe" the grandmaster would exhort Papa Noel and Dizzy Manjeku, who were unhappy at not being allowed to express themselves in a flashy way. Having said this, that sequence in the first clip is hardly a song, and is bad.

14 years. I got thrown into the fire early. 2 months after I picked it up, I was playing on live TV, and in the studio 2 weeks after that. To be honest, I practiced for about 30 hours a week. Some nights, I would practice until 3 & 4 o'clock in the morning. The wife didn't like that. It bit me like a bug!

:smh: YOU ARE REACHING...

All the OP asked for was help with the chords... and he asked for the GUITAR PLAYERS... yet you contribute nothing. :smh:

the man only asked for help with chords... this thread probably would have been an open an shut case, but somebody had to go on with something that has NOTHING to do with what the OP asked for.

He may be playing an open string, but he is rythmic and melodic. The openness of a string is not as important as how the string is tuned. The only reason why you close a string is to tune it to a particular key. Here, these boys knew what they were going to play and tuned the strings accordingly... Remember, these are not pros.. They are little boys who made their own instruments to play, while American kids were playing playstation and nintendo. They are doing more with two crude instrument than sampson's friends are doing with their assorted pro instruments. You think I would bring even semi-pro African musicians into this thread? Why? That would be gross overkill... However, your nitpicking is par for the course. In what I post, you look for nothing but fault; in the rubbish they post, you try to find praise that is undeserved.

However, I have seen these Kalindula musicians in Katanga and Luapula... He is not playing an open string all the time... Observe his left hand and see how he taps it on the string and see how he ranges it up and down the fretboard. There is a method to his madness.

The guitarist is playing at least 3 strings, if you look carefully at his plectrum. I think his guitar has 4 wires... All three keep excellent time, which is normally the case when you learn your music completly by ear.

NICE! I've been playin guitar for about 16 years now? (since i was 13, I'm now 29) I think the math is right LOL, I started out classical guitar, then I got into r&b/rock/blues/jimmy hendrix type stuff when I was in high school. Now I've been getting back into classical styles, learning Flamico, and Samba styles. Samba style is MAD hard, a lot of chord jumping. I stay fuckin up:lol:

I am not reaching my brother. You go through my many music posts and see how angry they get. The difference is that my musicians are far better than theirs and so when I complain, my comments are completely valid.

Okay, I'm convinced now. Either you've gotten into the Mason jar liquor again, or you're just fuckin' with us.

Bro, you're telling me. Luckily, cause my dad was a jazz player (as well as other styles) it was an easier transition for me. Bossa Nova is a good place to start from, then move into Flamenco. You got any mp3s of your music?

I am serious. In fact reread my post because I have made changes to it. It is amazing that 3 street kids playing 2 crude homemade instruments play better than your professional musicians playing expensive pro instruments..

valid? yet it has nothing to do with HELPING THE OP OUT! did you help him out with any chords that he needed?:smh: so all of your posts in THIS THREAD is irrelevant. But for the sake of entertainment, and to see your left field comments, it is welcomed:lol:

It is funny how my music threads are greeted with open hatred and revulsion and you want me to be nice and cordial to the worthless music that you post..

For the last time, the OP asked if anyone knew the chords that the guitarist was playing, and what did you submit and contribute? Pretend that we are in a courtroom, and answer that one question.

What do you submit to my music threads other than hate? Why do you expect what you don't give?

Yo, that's fucked up how dude made a request and Nzinga derailed the thread.

This should become a bannable offense.

OP wasn't a pompous ass talking about how much superior his music was to others, he just wanted some fucking chords.

Don't EVER make me a mod..
