1st off I had my gripes early bout last season but the new writers sure as hell fixed it Season 9 was the shit especially with some of the effects
now it's time 2 end (finally) smallville and yoooooooooo it's going 2 go DOWN!!!!!
Darkseid is confirm as the villian (please new writers dont pull that doomsday bullshit)

They ended last season with a good fight (for Smallville standards) hopefully they'll improve on that this season.

Let's see Clark challenged. Let's see him be forced to cut loose on an enemy. And its definitely time to fly. Seems like everyone around him can fly but his ass is stuck on the ground.

I've been watching but until last season, its been bullshit for years. Fuck Smallville - BRING ON SUPERNATURAL! That shit has been FIRE!

That how I always pictured the show ending. Looks like Lexx is going to be revied or something so the two may converse and then up up and away. Smallville along with Scrubs has been one of my favorite shws of the last decade, good to see it go out with a bang.

Smallville actor Tom Welling has revealed that he is trying to convince his former co-star Michael Rosenbaum to return to the show.

He told KryptonSite that he had attempted a number of methods to make Rosenbaum reprise his role as the villainous Lex Luthor.

"I have tried a few things with Michael," he said. "I've twisted his arm, I've taken him to dinner, I've gotten him drunk. I'm trying everything that I can."

Welling confirmed that Rosenbaum is interested in making an appearance in the final season of the program, but that no deal has yet been made.

"Michael wants to come back, but there are just some things to iron out, and I think he understands that we can't end the show without Lex Luthor," said the star.

He added: "We're even teasing the idea that he's going to be on already, with the idea of clones, or [the idea] that Lex has developed these bodies that he could then tap into to heal himself later in life."

Smallville will return for its tenth and final season on September 24 on The CW.
 
^ Agreed. They can't end the show without Lex. Even if he just makes a 2 minute cameo in the final episode it will be all good.
 
been watching since 2001 :eek: and I gotta say, last season ended well. As for the cape, I remember from the beginning , it was said he will never wear it , but that doesnt look to be the case. As for the last season, it should be the best and I think they will go all out without cutting corners. Who knows, maybe Lana will make one last appearance...:rolleyes:
 
I have not seen any of the past 4+ seasons for the most part... but I'm gonna try and catch up (hulu have them?) and then watch the 10th season.

Did Kristen Kreuk's character get killed off (would love to see her). Allison Mack was lookin good :)

nope, hulu doesnt have em. As for Kreuk, they left her character open...with powers :hmm: . She anit dead.
 
Looking at the full promo bringing back many memories from the series it shows that this show was a big hit and had some rare glimpses of brilliance as far as story telling and writing. However, they REALLY need to step up the ACTION :angry: I know that with its drop in ratings and being moved to the Friday night graveyard hurt the budget but there are some things they can do that are creative and dont involve tons of costly CG...like when clark went to rescue Chloe from Checkmate!


To the point of him flying, we have ALL seen him fly in the season when he was possessed and had the black shirt on in the intro and flew around the world so its not that big of a deal he gets to the same places fast via running as Zod did, it would just look better if he flew.


The whole lex clone thing looks mad suspect and I dont think he even wears that suit its prolly another Lois dream sequence :smh:

To be honest I liked the concept of the kryptonians all having powers and ganging up on Clark last season but where Smallville fails TIME and TIME again is in their under-utilization of Clarks powers/abilities....he runs from place to place in the blink of an eye, catching bullets and arrows and not even being picked up by cameras...but somehow is always able to get hit by Someone or something :angry: Clark should be using his powers the way that Zod, Lex-Zod, and all the other Kryptonians use their powers nothing should even be able to touch them because they are so fast...:smh:

This has been the series biggest problem. Good writing to build up a story and then when the climax comes its a little pop instead of a bang. Skimping on the action and budget.

They introduced great villains over the years, but when it came to a confrontation between them and Clark it would be one punch, something happens, then the fight is over. WTF?!? They built up Doomsday for an entire season just to have a serious let down. :smh::angry:

They did a good job with the finale last season (and some other scenes before that involving other characters). Hopefully they'll add more of that this season while telling a good story.

me 2 from the start i always assumed thats how it would end but maybe since they breaking that no flight/no tights rule (finally) we may get a 2hr in supes uniform fight wit darkseid *fingers crossed*

and last season was because of the new writers and them gettin more rights to do stuff with the real mytho
i felt bad for the writers cuz she was so f'd up but they did a good job fixing it in 1 season

good writing? I cant even stomach to watch it anymore, anytime i tried to watch it was like im watching some kid show on nicolodeon

Why is everyone assuming he's flying while catching the globe? if you've watch smallville long enough, most likely its going to be him jumping catching the globe and placing it back on the roof. They've B.S with him flying for the longest.

Whats funny to me is he can't even fly or use his powers to anywhere near respectability, but he's going to face and defeat darkseid? yeah okay!
