Just saw the fight 2 more times...GREAT JOB BY THE REF.

I was rooting for Carwin and questioned the fact that the stop wasn't stopped when I was watching it in real time. But after a closer 2nd and 3rd look, I saw that though Brock was hurt he was never in danger of being "out". He took a few good shots on the ground (a right elbow being the hardest) but he blocked the majority of the punches.

Shane fucked up by not attacking the body when he had the top position and by not letting Brock up once he saw that he couldn't get punches cleanly through Brock's big ass guard. Brock's hands, forearms, and elbows essentially created a huge shield that allowed him to survive.

Big ups to Brock for showing a shit load of heart and improvement in what was only his 6th professional MMA fight. Also, it was good to see that he has been humbled by his recent struggles and didn't act like an immature asshole after his victory. I hope that trend continues.

Sorry I'm not really a lesnar fan, he's cool, and so is carwin. My favorite is Anderson Silva, so I guess you can trash talk him to try and get under my skin. Agreed, we need this fight, I don't think fedor hits harder than Carwin, though fedor hits hard. The key to beating Lesnar is stuffing that takedown, not many humans can do that shit.

Carwin's power is underrated. I woldn't be surprised if Bocks needs to heal fractures in his face, but he didn't go out. That means chin.

#1 I'm just stating the facts...which remains that Werdum got fired after getting abused by Dos Santos. That said, I don't think the UFC should have cut him. Yes, he got embarrassed but its not like Dos Santos is a slouch. He could potentially do the same to every other top heavyweight in the game. Dude is a beast and Werdum should have been given a shot to fight another contender to show he belonged in the UFC.

#2 I don't think that Werdum fighting style had anything to do with him getting cut from the UFC. There are several fighters in the UFC that only bring a strong ground game to the table (Damien Maia, Josh Koscheck, Jon Fitch, Chael Sonnen, etc.)

#3 Carwin didn't barely beat Gonzaga. He did to Gonzaga what Dos Santos did to Werdum...HE KNOCKED HIM THE FUCK OUT!
