Yeah, Mir is a real heavyweight..and I still think Brock should not have been the least bit stunned when Mir hit him with that knee..but I don't mean he hasn't been in there with a real heavyweight..I meant he has not been clocked solid by a real big heavyweight with ko power. If he can take shots from Carwin I will be convinced. I think those big strong muthafuckas like Brock fall the hardest most times. This will be the only real test available for his chin except for Dos Santos.

I spoke too soon only because the 3rd round was borin but those 2 first rounds were the shit. To see Yvel get that big muthafucca off of him and damn near knocc his blocc off was great....he ran outta gas in the 3rd though.

Which knee? Two hit him flush on the chin. Why wouldn't he have been stunned? What about the elbow to the face before that? Mir dropped Kongo with one shot.

So to prove himself, he should stand and get hit by Carwin? If anything, we've seen Carwin's chin in action.

Why should you test your chin when no one can stop your takedown.

I don't think those were solid shots from Mir and Brock has bragged on his chin. By the way I see Brock as being a different level of heavyweight..the kind that will run a regular hw back to lhw like he did to Randy...also did you hear that Frank is now talking about going down to LHW..don't think he can make it though.

I don't think anyone should ever test their chin..I was saying that nobody else has tested his chin to the point I am definite he will be able to blow through Carwin the way he has everybody else.

Having met Frank Mir, there's no way. He's bigger framed than Carwin (taller and wider).

Min Soo Kim - 1 fight since Brock
Herring - hasn't fought since which was two years ago, retired
Couture - ran to LHW
Mir - obsessive disorder, driven crazy

You don't wanna fight the bul.

That's what I'm getting at..Brock is too much for an average hw. He sending muthafuckas elsewhere..making niggas reevaluate their career. Mir can be as big as he wants..but there is a reason he was known for his bjj and not ko's. I don't want to overexaggerate Carwin, because he is still not even up to 15 fights..But Tyson was never the bigger guy when he was wrecking shit. It's about the power, you can't go buy how big a guy is...and Carwin is knocking out everybody in front of him, so I have to assume he hits hard as fuck.

Yeah, but you said you were not convinced that Brock is the best heavyweight because his chin was not tested.

By that logic you still wont be sold on Brock If he manages to avoid Carwins shots and takes him down and GNP him.

oh, my bad. I guess if I can put it this way. GSP is the best, but he knows he can only stand with a couple of guys and goes to his wrestling. I think Brock is the best simply because he is champ..what I am not certain about is his chin. He hasn't had to withstand any damage is my point.
