Yea, Rondo should be in for a Cav-like series, in which case he would get the MVP.

It's gonna be a real interesting series. I don't see LA having the troubles they had in 2008. I don't see pau gasol having a great series however. Boston will play a defense similar to the thunder and suns. Theyll crowd the paint when the ball goes inside and try to stifle the triangle. I think the key for LA will be for them playing a more free wheeling offense then go to the triangle. If they do play the triangle I think it'll be very important for Kobe to be in the post.

On the defensive side of the ball Ray Allen will be guarding Kobe to allow paul pierce to conserve energy for offense. I think it'll be important to go at paul pierce to wear him out.

Derek fisher is going to be in trouble of defense, but rondo is not a threat from range like Nash, or Williams. He also looks to pass with his penetration unlike Westbrook. They'll leave fisher on rondo.

Boston doesn't have the same defensive core as in 2008 which gave Kobe problems. Ray Allen does step up for Kobe, but you can't replace what posey did with Tony allen.

Lastly the refs will be major. La got a huge screw job game 2 2008. Will they benefit this year?
