:hmm:

If the Nuggets play right, the Lakers will not be able to win a 7 game series with them. You better hope you get the 2009 Game 6 Nuggets or else :itsawrap:

very close in several categories yes. not as close in a couple areas that are typically more scrutinized for PGs in particular.

but that just points out how fickle (and uneducatd) most fakers fans are about basketball.

they scapegoated william parker out of town and then heralded derek fisher as a tremendous upgrade.

since then, they've been scapegoating derek fisher.

the cycle never ends.

Fuck Smush Parker

I'm rolling with D-Fish. It's a matter of character and veteran know how. Plus, he's the only laker that ain't scared of Kobe

Remember when yo momma used to whoop yo ass when you were younger? Didn't that make you a stronger and smarter person? Didn't that teach you how to do things the right away to avoid getting yo ass whooped? I'm sure it did.

So with that said, that ass whooping the Nuggets got last year only made them stronger.

Re: Thunder Series Thread

i don't have "favorite players".

but those were just examples of players who were remarkable to watch for different reasons.

1 of them is the best i ever played with.

Sooooo, were you a Laker, a Buck, or Magic?:lol::lol:

fuk outta here! james gets auto calls when he hits the lane! and u dayum right they complain after gettin fouled on a jumper. just TOUCHIN a dude's arm can affect the shot. this ain't playground rules that u r used 2. this is another animal altogether

I've seen him get smashed and nobody called the foul, the same goes for Shaq. The bottom line is if you attack the hole you will get fouls called. However like I said the Lakers fouls are usually of those rinky dink pull up jump shots. Even yesterday they was saying that several of the blocks look like all ball. Meanwhile on the other side, the Lakers was pushing off and going over the back during every rebound, and only a handful was called.
I would love to see the Lakers try that over the back and push off, shit with a bigger and stronger Cleveland team, I seriously doubt if Shaq, James, Verejo, Hickson and even Big Z would let that shit fly.

I'm looking at the game right now, trying to see all the so called fouls you guys are talking about. Now go to any Laker thread, and all you gonna see are people complaining about cheap ass calls always going the Lakers way.

Im still looking for all the so called phantom fouls, you Lakers are talking about. If anything the Bulls are driving more and they are getting more calls, thats the way the game works.
Lakers be doing those jump shots, missing then going over the top and pushing rebounding for the push back ooppps I mean put back. And they do that nearly every single play!

Phils saying be physical, let the refs decide whats a foul, is as close to an admition that the Lakers cheat or at least get favorable calls.

Are you that biased? What he's saying is simple. BE AGGRESSIVE. It doesn't matter what team it is, sometimes refs allow contact if the game isn't too chippy, and sometimes the refs call everything. You can only find out if you're aggressive.

So far I don't see any favorable calls in this game benefitting one team more than the other. OKC shot two more free throws in game 1, and so far they have shot 2 more than LA in this game.

Lakers bigs have been getting hacked a lot - for someone who says that happens to Lebron you should be seeing this.

Anyways, back on topic. LA's been playing real sloppy - this Thunder team is going to be a serious problem with a couple minor additions and tweaks.

Basically Phil is saying foul and leave it up to the refs to call it, know damn well they usually don't catch them all.

If im a coach and I dont think my team is playing physical enough I would tell them the same thing :dunno:

I see what you are saying though, but who doesnt do that?
