Trust me other cities, including Cleveland have die hard fans, its just they don't over react like some of you Laker fans.Sure this is a good game so far for the Lakers, but let put it in proper perspective, the game is far from being over, and its still just game one.
What make matter worse, is not only do you guys make silly threads, every time things go right with your team, yall bitch and whine when ever someone makes a thread when you guys lose.
I hate to say, what you guys often refer to hate, is nothing but reaction to the arrogance you guys display towards your team!

When the Cavs played Shaq and Big Z this year vs the Lakers, it caused them problems. With the Lakers, they are not used to playing against guys their size or bigger. A lineup of Shaq, Big Z, Jamison, James and Parker is the biggest in the league 1-5.

Maybe boston has much more talent on the frontline than the cavs homie......Garnett, Big Baby davis,Perkins,wallace those four are more talented and better defensive players than the Cavs 4 even though the cavs went and got powe from boston....Boston and LA lakers have very talented frontlines.......Sorry the cavs just dont have a talented frontline besides James at SF at PF and C positions the CAVS ARE STILL LACKING!!!!
My point cavs are big but not talented like the other frontlines in the league..

You dont have to stop them, all you have to do is box them out preventing all of those cheap volleyball put backs, the Lakers are known for. One Bynum dont have the girth to deal with Shaq in the paint and 2 Gasol can't out tip Big Z, that is the one thing Z does well in the paint. The problem for LA is that if their big men get into foul problems they have no one comming off the bench, while the Cavs have Hickson, Powe, and Anderson Varejao. Not to mention the Cavs would have James at guard, crashing the boards as well.
Unlike the teams in the west, the Lakers will be forced to shoot at a high % vs the Cavs.
On the humble, the Lakers REALLY shouldn't feel too good about this game even if they win. The Thunder, in the FIRST playoff game, are staying close to the Lakers with Durant having one of his worst games. If I LA, I am concerned, VERY concerned. If not for this series, the rest of the playoffs...

I actually like the way the Lakers are playing, they are using their heads, and they are dictating the pace of the game, playing team ball instead of relying on one on one match ups.
The Thunder on the other hand, have been exposed, and Mr Durant, if you want to be considered the best in the league you have to learn to elevate your game vs good defensive teams.
BTW my only gripe is the one way officiating favoring the Lakers!

Shaq eats up Bynum all day! (Bynum be getting those humble lucky points due to mismatch and defenses rotating towards Kobe and Gasol, that shit wont fly vs the Cavs). When Bynum is in there by himself with out Gasol Bynum gets exposed!

Artest can not play against LeBron point blank period, plus on the other hand, James would not have to play that much d on Artest, meaning he can help out and crash the boards.

I agree with the point on Durant, but considering he is 21 in his FIRST playoff game, with a team which has NO REAL reliable veterans who have been in the trenches, I'd say overall he is still ahead of schedule. Give him and the Thunders some experience, and they may full well be sweeping some squads in a few years!!
Please the Celtics are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, the problem with you, you are looking the front line in terms of individual players, instead of a cohesive unit. The Cavs front line is one of the best in the NBA, if not one of the best because how they play as a unit. Plus they can crash the boards 1-5 they can block shots 1-5 and with players like Varejao, Hickson, James and Jamison, they have scrappy players who not only out hustles most teams but are willing to do the dirty work in order to make that front line that much more tougher.
The final factor you overlook is the front line depth, cause once your front line is in foul problems, it tends to take away from their aggression, something the Magic will have to deal with while playing against the Cavs.
Plus the Cavs have effective penetrators someone who can apply the pressure and fouls vs other teams front lines, making their front line even more stronger on the other side.

durant shot them out of the game. Also how does he artest play the whole game with 5 fouls, i think he bailed him out at the end. If Thunder have a chance to win, Westbrook and Jeff Green have to show up on every game. Last thing, they have to outhustle LA for the rebounds..

What I've noticed is that half of the teams in the playoffs (the teams that lost) can't play effective half court set offense.
I've been saying all year that anyone can score points during a run and gun game, but if you really want to be good you have to score in a half court set. This is what LeBron was indirectly saying to Durant when he said that he could win the scoring title every year if he really wanted to.
They need to stop that shit. I mean they are the only team in the league that does that.
The difference James goes to the hole harder than anyone in the NBA, and a lot of times he gets hammered. The lakers on the other hand be bitching after jump shots, and after three bad call goes their way!
