malone to me, best offensive power forward ever, runs the floor, pick and roll, good jumper.

Obviously, it was Bird when he played that position early on. Otherwise, it's the only player to shoot 60% from the field and 80% from the line in the same season (and nearly did it back-to-back).

By the way I vote Tim Duncan! If Kemp coulda stayed off the blow he coulda at least been in the convo!

thats not what it's about at all. malone and barkley never won any rings because of michael jordan.

is that the only reason? Jordan has six ring. Thats six season. Barkley and Malone played more than six season. They had other opportunities. This is like saying Chris Webber didnt win a ring because of Shaq.

Tim Duncan should be a center like he was in college. I vote Barkley.

Same here, and I agree. If not for D. Robinson, he would be a center. Consider if Ralph Sampson's knees hadnt went out with the Houston twintowers, would we really consider Olajuwon a PF?

for PURE PF, I vote Barkley. Malone's stats were helped alot by Stockton (+ he a coon and like 13 yo girls.)

Six years but you don't always have a championship contending team every year. Barkley's best team went against the Bulls and lost, Malone's two best teams went against the Bulls and lost, Drexler's best team went against the Bulls and lost, Payton's best team went against the Bulls and lost and all the other great players in the Eastern Conference that didn't even make it to the Finals because of the Bulls.

The Bulls were so dominant for an eight year period when the norm isn't for a team to win so many championships in a row but for a different team to win every year. The Spurs win one year, lose the next, win one year, lose then next because it's hard to keep that level of consistency that they had and thats why its so rarely done.

The only player during that era that I hold not winning a championship against them is Patrick Ewing. Hakeem and the Rockets took full advantage of the opportunity when Jordan retired and Ewing had his team there, seventh game of the Finals and couldn't get it done.

You cant blame Ewing for that loss though

John Starks smoked some real good shit before that game

Im surprised Nyers allowed him back into the city

shouldve went down like, "look niggah, ummmm its dangerous for you to get on this plane.....we ummm, are going to send you to Toronto to relocate"

They didn't win while he was out either though. If the question was about favorite power forwards, mine would be Barkley... but I can't go against Duncan for pure, boring, effectiveness.

FUCK THAT!!!

NYers blame Ewing, he of the empty 'guarantees.' notice that he can't sniff an asst coaching job with the Knicks.

NYers blame Starks for his 2 for 18 game. no one says it to him, but we still whisper '2 for 18' and how he cost us a championship.

NYers blame Riley for keeping that fucker Starks in the game.

I know I'm old and all but Elgin Baylor can't get any love?

Make no mistake though, Kevin McHale was a complete and total beast who in his prime could not be guarded by anyone on this list...and I don't even like dude. :smh:

I know Starks had a horrible game but at some point the superstar on the team has to threaten to kill Starks if he shoots again and demand the ball everytime down the court. It's game seven, all the chips on the line and your superstar has to get it done.

McHale, in my opinion, is in the top 3 in terms of best low-post players ever. You couldnt do shit with him on the low post..he used to kill my Pistons..However, Duncan is a much more complete player..especially on the defensive end.... I think the same goes against Baylor too.. could score his ass off but I think Duncan is a more complete player.

Its all about rings Right?

So yall cant get Mad @ me for saying Kobe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lebron

thanks.
