Stylishly it is a clean and smooth outfit if I just judged it for what it is. Most of us grow up in the western culture... where men wearing skirts is not deemed normal in our society. People from the islands and other countries wear them all the time.
My personal belief is that this particular style of skirt is geared towards gay men. It looks to much like a womens skirt...almost identical. My fear is that these skirts would get shorter and tighter
The reason I say this style of skirt is for gay men is because in other countries where men do wear skirts they are like long a a bath robe. It is nothing remotely feminine about them. That picture above is a females skirt

i understand your post, and knew that before you posted it. however that is their culture and long standing tradition. we do not have such a tradition, and they're not even trying to pass it off and some type of cultural influx. they are just saying we want you guys in a skirt. not kilt or sarong
