All that build up and storytelling for what? Thank God there is a BGOL. I'd have been tight if I had to actually pay.

You know the sad part...Some of the older DC cats that I talk with are leaving DC (probably comics for good) all together because of BL. It's like every Wednesday they came in with smiles and left with frowns and empty wallets...been trying to hook them up with other books like Boom! Studios and the like but I think they've been disrespected by DC (and fellow bashers like me...though I am not the worst one) that's it's a wrap.
Last Wednesday I heard 3 old school DC cancel all of their DC books with the exception of Vertigo books.
You know the sad part...Some of the older DC cats that I talk with are leaving DC (probably comics for good) all together because of BL. It's like every Wednesday they came in with smiles and left with frowns and empty wallets...been trying to hook them up with other books like Boom! Studios and the like but I think they've been disrespected by DC (and fellow bashers like me...though I am not the worst one) that's it's a wrap.

Someone had said before that it was all a move to sell books and I'm sure it has but damn. Knowing me, I'll still be reading them because Jones HAS done a good job in keep the anticipation constant. Guess artistic integrity always has to take a back seat to moving numbers.
That was me. I called it after issue 1 came out.
Too many holes for me. It's like watching a periodic film set in the Victorian age and seeing one of the extras in the background with a wrist watch...Once I see it...I can not enjoy the film.

I don't know about that. 3 different stores in NYC that I hit have told me on the DL that they cut DC orders in half.
