Could you imagine if these were reversed and it was about Floyd. This shit would be a BREAKING NEWS story..

Thank you, regardless of your opinion on this fight or these particular fighters there is no way you can discredit a student of the sport like Teddy Atlas, especially when he has no actual dog in this fight.
Teddy Atlas seems unbiased and the same way that I can accept his statement that what Pac has done was not so amazing that he had to be on PED's, I can also accept his questioning why Pac won't take a test.
However, this thing about the emails is old news. It's at least two weeks old. In the lawsuit that Pac filed against Mayweather and crew, it addresses this particular email issue and complains that it was concocted by the Mayweather posse in order to further smear Pac.
If it was actually made up by the Mayweathers and it got so far as Atlas making statements about it on ESPN like he did, it will only work against Mayweather and help the defamation suit. If the email is real, then of course doubt would be cast on Manny.

24 days isn't a rule in place, it was the only testing date that Pacquiao's people and Bob Arum were willing to agree to (it was initially 30 days but they got blown out by a Youtube clip of 24/7 showing Pac getting blood tested 24 days before a fight so they switched it to 24).
They should just agree to the 14 day compromise and make the deal.
That being said, I hope Floyd and his people say fuck it and take the fight anyway.
LMAO!! That "accusation" made by Teddy Atlas' "source" makes no sense at all. There's a reason why you can't find that "story" being reported by any of the major news sites. Doesn't it look just a little fishy that the network that Teddy Atlas said these things on (ESPN) doesn't have this "story" anywhere on their site. That gives you an idea of what they think about this "story" being reported by Atlas.
People are being sued for slander. The source is probably afraid to come out publicly because of that.
If you know how the internet works, you cannot concoct an email. There will be a copy of it on every server it passed through. Pacquiao is screwed. The bugger is on steroids and wants to get away with it.
Look we are reasonable men Zeferino. Lets look at it logically. I am sure you want there to be a clean fight. Commission standards aside, you know that the standard by which these state boxing commisions test for steroids is antiquated and inadedeqate. It is in place out of consideration for those little cards that pay $500 per fighter and would not survive the financial implications of random drug tests. No one in his right mind, not even you, can ever say that peeing in a cup every day, and doing blood tests on the day you choose, can get you convicted of using some of these designer PEDs if you really want to hide them...
You know that that what Floyd is suggesting is the best way to reduce the possibility of cheating. Why would you not be happy that Floyd is asking for this.
The commission rules say nothing about $10 million/ per pound overweight penalties, yet Pacquiao imposed them in them in the contract.
What I do not understand why you would not support Floyd for trying to uphold a higher standard. Why would you want the possibility of one of them walking in the ring high on PEDs to be there?
Leave any hatred you may have for Floyd aside and tell me why you object to ensuring that the fight is as clean as possible.

I am not saying that an actual email was actually concocted, I am saying that i think the story about the email is concocted. In other words, I doubt that an actual email even exists. By them saying, "according to sources, there's an email that says," is just not enough. If this is really true, then no one has to worry about any slander. All they have to do is print out the email and submit it to the press.
Actually, that's a good question. Why hasn't this email been submitted to the press? If it really existed, Manny's crew would definitely have to just shut up. I don't think this email exists.
Regarding your other points, I don't have "hatred" for Floyd. Also, whether the commissions tests are inadequate or not, Floyd's timing is just off. Even his fans should be able to see this. The way Floyd and his people went about it was kind of stupid. These kinds of things are not in the power of a single fighter, that's why there are commissions. He should have lobbied to the commission about this before the fight. Then you have Schaefer, part of Floyd's crew, refusing for Mosley to be subjected to the same thing when Judah requested it. They just don't seem like serious people that genuinely want to better the sport.
If Mayweather really thinks his opponent is on steroids and that his life could be in danger, then he just doesn't have to fight that guy. It's as simple as that. That's the smartest thing to do until the commission changes the testing requirements for everyone.
But sooner or later, Mayweather should fight someone of note. There always seems to be some reason why he's not fighting someone. It's either there's not enough money, the guy has too many losses, now it's the guy won't take these tests I want him to take.
If Mayweather fights Matthew Hatton, I'll be speechless.

With the slander thing, Manny is trying to get Floyd to back off the drug testing. Right now there is no concrete proof of drug use so there is a possible case for slander. With a loop hole in the test he can still get around coming up positive. The email isn't slander but it implies a lot and the source could be one of the people being sued.
