Most whites, Spanish, etc.... do root for/support their own.Obama won by a high turnout of blacks and others. Other races did vote for him but the majority of whites voted for McCain. Had he been running against someone other white candidate. Then outcome may have been different.
The bigger points is that most racial and ethic groups will always be for their own. While a small percent will not. Black are in the majority when it comes to not supporting their own. It hasn't done us any good. If you look at the history of when we had to support our own. We were much better off than we are now.

I totally disagree with you on this one. Most intelligent people throw their support behind a concept or conviction not a race. Like universal healthcare, pollution, abortion, or whatever. We are rarely asked to support a race. Life is bigger than this false notion of how we differentiate ourselves from each other based on skin color. Hell what you call a black person is not the same another person calls black.
