This shit is an easy argument. Kobe doesnt win in either of two ways you can analyze this... quantatively (stats) or qualitatively (accomplishments like titles, mvps, etc). And its easy to analyze being the played the same position.
Truth. Kobe has had better teams than Jordan his entire career. Jordan never had a true big man. Kobe has a very good one now and once had one of the greatest ever gtfoh. These young cats don't even realize that 95% of championship teams have a great big man. Jordan is the only dude to win multiple chmpionships without one.
Further more Kobe will never match Jordans career scoring avg, even with the league rules changed to help fools score today. Kobe is dropping 40 the past few nights??!!

Based on the OP, how can that bulls team be better when Kobe is better than MJ? That in and of itself makes your argument moot. Add in Pau, Lamar, Bynum the supporting cast? Its an impossibilitiy. Any team with a player that trumps MJ is going to be the better team in any versus debate, MJ is THAT great. Especially when you consider the supporting cast that Kobe currently has.

Look, do you know how expansion teams are built? Along with having top draft picks they get to cherry pick other teams rosters for vet talent and experience. That raptors expansion team had tons of leadership, talent and experience. Far more so than that horrific lineup that sactown put on the court last night (not to mention their two best players didnt play). Tracy Murray, Doug Christie, Fat ass O Miller, Sharone Wright, Mighty Mouse, Massanburg, Ole ass Alvin Robertson....These guys would destroy last night Sac team by atleast 15 points.

Kobe could never play in MJ's era. Was just to physical. That is the blaring difference. Kobe is nice dont get me wrong. I also hated Jordan because he kept Ewing and my boys from getting the much deserved rings. (Well Starks and bum ass Pat Riley helped)
Even if he could make it past the West back then. The Bad Boys and New York would have ate him alive after game 2.
That being said he has had Shaq 2nd best Center to play the game! Take away Diesel and he becomes a dude with a ring. Then he supporting cats is much greater then MJ. Please do remember if yall cats was around when MJ retired in his prime. Pippen looked like dodo!

I think on a talent vs talent basis, it's pretty damn close, and I wouldn't have a problem with anyone calling it a tie. The thing about Kobe that has always put him under MJ for me has been his head.... Like I remember a couple/few games where he'd pretty much take the night off, or at least a quarter here or there... just to prove a point. Those times where he may have been having a disagreement with his coach or teammates.... and I can't remember Mike ever doing that shit.
Mike also changed his offensive game up completely after getting beat to shit by Detroit year after year, and didn't lose any effectiveness, so I gotta give him some extra points for that. I'm sure Kobe could to though, if he had to, because he's just that good.
