that would be the life man buy a few boats and jet skis rent them out to the tourist. if you are going to move to an island i would consider ones outside of the hurricane belt.

Have you actually put serious thought into this? Because thousands of disenchanted Americans who are unhappy with their lives in the states flock to foreign countries every year to realize the grass isnt always greener on the other side then go running back to the US when they realize their fairy tale of being an expatriate was not all its cracked up to be.

Take a 5 week trip to wherever you want to move to.
I would venture to say 90% of the folks on this board talking about moving to a new country will come back after the 5 weeks never to speak of moving again.
Alot of developing countries have intermittent electricity, slooow internet, high crime rates, unstable governments, and none of the creature comforts that we take for granted.
Still I love Ghana, South Africa, London and would love to checkout Brazil, DR, Japan.

If you want to leave the US for good then get the fuck out but if you plan to visit a place for awhile then Guam(JUST VISIT, LOTS OF HOES TO FUCK) ,Hawaii(MAD PRETTY FREAKS), Diego Garcia (peaceful but a dude ranch) Tobago and don be scared to hit them small outer islands in the marianas and hawaii

That's because if they were unhappy with their lives in the states, they will be forever unhappy no matter where they go in the world. I think everybody goes thru that phase at least once in their life. It's not the location that's the source or root of their unhappiness, it's has to do with the actual individual as a person.

Always wanted to go to trinidad & experience their carnival at least once in my lifetime(top 10 things to do), but I hear the crime is pretty high now. It's almost as bad if not worst than jamaica now. Some of this crime happens in the tourist area from what I hear. I dunno how much of this is true though.
