The touch pro 2 is gonna be windows mobile
that xperia x10 looks nice. The touch pro 2 was nice, but since its on windows mobile, i can't fk with it, i'm strictly Android!
Touch pro hd 2, 3.8 inch screen!!!!!!!! the tmo site says Novemeber 09! maybe their gonna do like verizon did with the droid and just drop it! I got 2 have it, hope they drop it and don't wait until 2010.

I was planning to actually buy that phone and Ive been telling my ppl that use sprint to hold out on getting the hero and get this phone. Guess ill be telling them to buy the Samsung Moment instead
Has anyone ran across a link for smartdialer.. the FULL version?? Everything that I have found on androidappz and other forums has been the trial version even though a few were listed as being the full versions. Thanks in advance.
damn htc is fucking up...motorola just stole their thunder...moto is gonna be dropping 20 android phones in 2010 by themselves....can u imagine? 20 from one company then 3 or 4 from others? in one year under one OS? sicckkk shoot i might trade up my droid next october lol...tmobile is gonna be dropping some androids i almost considered waiting but unless they announce they r getting the droid by new years i gotta go one more day then off to best buy and my droid.

my text service and my data is spotty...I have rss on my g1...shit only updated once today...I have it set for every 2 hrs. and yea no texts in or out....thats unacceptable
Got the Droid and it is glorious! Fast as fuck too I'mma be setting and customizing it all night...BIG LEAP from my G1 and VZW is pretty good too
When my incoming calls, and text were spotty it was when my 3g coverage was horrible. This was a year ago. I turned off 3g and the problem stopped, it sucks being on edge, i kept trying with no luck. Tmobile said they had a ticket out in my area to resolve the problem, also they said towers were being built. I know when i first rooted my phone my 3g started going good! no more of the problems i had before. To this day I don't know if the problem was solved by me rooting or if it just happens that the same day I rooted tmobile fixed a 3g reception problem in my area............hmmm, i don't know, but i've been good since then! Are u rooted or using factory?
dang when i reported the touch pro hd2 would be comn November 2009, i got the link from endgaget to tmo's website, i didn't notice it was t-mobile.uk
some sites were reporting the touch pro hd2 would be android but I see its windows.

naw just trippn, did a lot of apps already come on the phone or was it like the g1 and didn't come with much when it was first released? I know the internet is much faster since its verizon but is performing task a lot faster? Also a friend was wondering if it had microsoft exchange? I know that screen is dope!
Meanwhile here in tmobileville we're stranded. After lookn into the motorolla cliq some more, I think I might just stick to my dam G1, that screen on the cliq isn't impressive, then that cluttered home screen, then its sort of coming across as the 2009 sidekick. I'm not impressed so far with the cliq, but I do want a new phone and it must be Android.
If anybody hears any facts on a new tmobile Android phone, be sure to post it. I'm also a little worried that this motorolla cliq might be a big bust as for not selling much and that might fk tmo up financially and it might hurt us waiting on a new phone. Because it seems like their expecting big numbers from the cliq---by them releasing it in time for the holidays and by them promoting it pretty heavy.
wait til january Tmo should be getting 2.0 androids they cant afford to fall behind...the cliq might be a bust...peep this if u take the even more plus plan its 400something dollars if u wait 4 ur upgrade its 200 but with another 2 yrs...the cliq is a good phone but overpriced. if I had to stay on tmo i woulda got the blackberry 9700 and switched to verizon in august. luckily i got out n the price of a nw cliq got me a droid n stuff.
tmo is cool but they sneak stuff in n dont train the employees well enough.

the droid came with madd apps in the store the ones i use need to be upgraded to 2.0 tho...the performance is sick...yes it has exchange 4 personal use no extra feee for biz use extra 15...

not into blackberry's, especially a non touch screen, i think the 9700 isn't touch, i could be wrong, with the exception of verizons touch screen blackberry's, blackberry reminds me of an 80s Benz, good phone, but the design slightly changes, and I can't tell an 83 from an 89..............ok, bad analogy but to me blackberry hasn't done much innovation in the past couple of years, there screens aren't big and they don't have many apps, by the way, I think i'm strictly Android right about now. I'll look into this cliq a little more since you say it's a good phone, but shyt I can't get any info on the phone because all they keep promoting is the fact that it comes with myspace, facebook, and twitter. That's it, that's all they keep promoting, that and those widgets that hog up the entire home screen.
good stuff playa, i'll give tmo to January or February, if they haven't upped their game, i'll have to figure a way out of my contract and head to verizon. Verizon will be gettn 4g in many areas in the next couple of months, then they keep droppn hot phones. I love tmobile prices but if business starts poppn a lil more i'll have to make that move. 1 other question, so is the market the same? do the same apps that work on the g1 work for the Droid?

yeah the way the promoted the cliq kept pissing me off. they r making it into a tween/chick/attention whore device i have a twitter but i dont need all that info the cliq had...and besides 2.0 brings most of those functions also including an integrated fb app. The Droid to me looks like something a person who doesn't care about social norms would use got a throwback design with a strong engine and the physical keyboard isn't as bad as ppl say...i can see why moto didn't bring it to tmo...this phone is powerful and woulda been a waste on tmo now tmo is upgrading their network but for now they can't rock the powerful devices just yet

by the by I got 100 plus apps installed and 170 mb's left and most apps download cache's to the sd card now.

one thing home replacements fuck up on 2.0...I used open home but it kept messing up I emailed the developer n he was like its not open home...I downloaded the log collector showed him n i think hes fixing it til he does I'm using stock android with madd widgets lol

there's two I use handcent(new) it has voice to text and the other one voice text does same thing but handcent is a lil more accurate. i dig it
handcent replaces the stock messenger whereas voice text adds voice to the stock one.

i may not root now i'm reading google is working on built in apps2sd with 2.1 or 2.2 if i root that'd be my main reason if it comes built in an update my need to root isn't needed anymore i can use a home replacement or keep stock look if need be.
u could get the euro version but it will only be 2g here in the states...tmo may be dropping the keboardless version tho...man this device is a beast...

Thanks for the refer. Handcent is nice....pretty accurate, though the Quick Compose funtionality isn't working for me. I press and hold the Search button and choose Handcent from the pop_up menu but nothing happens. I couldn't find Voice Text in the market. Is that the official name?
quick compose has to be enabled. handcent has a lot of sub sections its there. if not unistall then reinstall.
it should be voice text its in the mega pack from page 18 on here i believe but I got my pack from another site.
Yea i was reading about that as well the other day. If they did that then the only reason i would root is for my tether reason and maybe themes. I dont fuck with phones without a keyboard man. Touchscreens are nice and all but i got big hands....lol.
I used to have Handcent[new] but uninstalled it after so many force closes and other misc happenings. It was tryna do TOO many things with 1 app. SMS popup now has the same features and Handcent with less fillings...lol
yeah, if i bought the droid i don't think i'd root right a way. Your not out of space yet, i doubt developers have came up with a nice package of apps and tweaks yet. I'd just enjoy the factory shyt for a few months, then by that time, when u root, it'll feel like u just bought a new phone.
I haven't been checkn for any new g1 apps or os, anybody found anything new?
