Most business fail too. Does that mean we shouldn't attempt to start a business. Life in general is requires leaps of faith from time to time. You can do your best to plan as much as possible, but to have great rewards you have to take measured risks.

Most of my statement didn't even focus on a comparison of business and marriage.
There are many parallels between marriage and business. Both involve due diligence and hard work. It is funny how give more thought about their jobs than who they may spend the rest of their lives with.

Marriage has not been a big deal for me (thought about it a couple of times with a few females along the way). But if never really gelled. In the end, I just never viewed the women as LIFE LONG ASSETS.
To me it seemed like a one-sided agreement. I do all of the work.. and make the money.. so that I can make a woman happy?????
Yes, before someone chimes in. I only date professionally employed women who can take care of themselves... but the thing is that ... for the "most" part no matter how much money a woman makes (or how educated) when she is SINGLE. She expects to get married and get with a HUSBAND that can TAKE CARE OF HER.. so that she does not have to work.

Well lets just say I have the companionship of women when I desire it... and on my terms.
In the end... do what works for you... what will make you happy.

Second of all, if I was blessed enough to find someone out there with a total package (including a very solid head on her shoulders) like her, staying single would not be an option because we would not be trying to do anything to cause us to be apart.
Yes, marriage is only smart if you are with someone who is of like mind and goals like yours, and if you are with someone who is willing to work at the marriage itself.

also if you want to have children at some point, it would stand to reason that it's probably best to do so having two parents rather than just one.
