:yes::yes::yes:

a 3 series just really isn't a BMW :dunno: maybe for my 19 year old daughter

The 3 series is the benchmark of all sport sedans. That is the most profitable car in BMW's stable:hmm: Compare any mass produced car to the M3 and rethink your statement.

The 3 series is the Standard for sports sedans....
Just like the Ford F-Series is the standard by which all trucks are judged.

Ask

Acura
Lexus
Audi
Infiniti
Mercedes

Why they always TRY to compare their makes to the 3 series???

Granted some years.... one manufacturer may 1up the 3 series on a FEATURE or TWO.

But the 3 series is the GOLD STANDARD when it comes to sport sedans. Oh and why hasn't MERCEDES of all people been able to build anything to compete??????????

If I didn't know any better this ad is some racist shit? Looks like they gearing that towars black folk oh yeah for riverhead infiniti

As stated numerous times, I have an '08 Porsche Cayenne S but I need a summer car. Wife and child so it has to be a 4-seater. The Mrs. is insisting on a hard-top the BMW 335i would be cool but the MB CLK350 looks so much better to me. In addition, I like to drive fast so maybe I shouldn't have those turbos with the fam in open air. The 3 convertible is way better than the 6-series. The MB SL doesn't have enough seats. Jag convertible is a sexy beast also but not a hardtop. She may have to give up the hardtop...Opinions?

e63 AMG :)

Shit I dont know where you been but alotta car ads and real estate ads have looked like this for the past 5 years. Subprime lending is big business.

They make way more money raping a poor person, taking the car/house back and raping someone else than selling to informed consumers with good credit who will get good rates and keep up with payments.

The dealerships don't owe anyone a particular kind of car. They are courtesy cars and not replacement cars. You're lucky they didn't throw you in a van and drive you home with 10 other people.

Having said that, Nalley BMW in ATL always gives me nothing less than a 335i. I simply call the service guy, whom i have dealt with for 3 years, and tell him to call me when one is available.
:lol::lol::smh::smh::lol::lol:
why dont you ask them about the 128i or 135i

Werd..

I have free oil changes for life on my G35 and I always get a loaner another G35 sedan 09 to be exact, but that kia spectra they was trying to push off on you was probably a rental, I know some dealsers would rather deal with rental car companies than actually give a loaner

free oil changes for life ? how did you get that.....and is it ture BMW require only two oil changes a year

I didn't pay any attention to what your fuckin budget was but here you go.

As far as the choices presented though, I guess I'd go with the Bimmer. I mean I like the G37 but the previous generation looks better to me.

I am confused as to why you're shaking your head but here is an answer::confused:

Because they don't have them and I don't like the 1 series. They also give me M Z4, which is my favorite.

I am shaking my head to the others you replied too.....well I guess BMW is the way to go from the responses....If only they made the G35 with the updated G37 interior I would be sold solid. either car is much better than the :D98 Honda Civic:D I currently own and I am going to continue owning afther I have made my decision on which car I truely want to buy

Femi, good call on the BMW, life is too short to deal with mediocrity. I can deal with the small headaches of the BMW because the driving thrill is worth it in the end

Each time I think I like another car and get behind the wheel of a BMW, I forget that other car real quick.

I feel you but try a Porsche. I test drove a Cayman and was in heaven although it was loud. Had the 745Li have a Cayenne S now. The Porsche is better. I still drool for the 7 series though. Smoked a slow ass Infiniti G35 last night. V8>>>>>>v6.

:hmm::hmm: Now you got me thinking.

But I drive too much to lug around that much weight in a cayenne everyday. I drive 23k miles a year.

Test drive a Cayenne S, GTS or turbo. Then drive a Cayman. Trust me, you will become a Porsche fan.

My boy bought a M-B CL63 last Friday.

Shit is tiny inside 4 of us fit uncomfortably (wives). He was all impressed but everything that was nouveau to him I had in my 745 6 years ago. I dunno MB...

I got a 335 and that it is one of the best cars I have ever driven. I test drove a 2010 Z, and the g37. The 335 handles better, quicker pick up, and at high speeds handles like a beast. Drop in a vishnu chip and you keeping up with M3'S. Cant say the same for the Z or the G37. Plus there resale valuse is shit. Go look at a Used 2007 335, and look at a G37 or Z and they will be porb 5-10 less.

how much is the vishnu chip and where can I get it from ?

I have driven both cars. I love both cars. Similar stats but very different cars. Im a fan of the G35/37, but i still have love for the 335i cause its a great car as well. Asking people their opinions here will only confuse you more and there is plenty of false information due to bias by people who haven't driven both. The perfomance value of both cars is so similar that the average person will never drive the car to the max for it to even be an issue. I personally have never liked the way BMWs drive because you seem to have to step on the accelerator pedal harder because of the electronic throttle control. Not a big deal for most people but just an annoyance for me personally. But thats only if youre driving a pussy automatic. :D I did however find the BMW interior more appealing.

Reliability is based 90% on the way you take care of your car. If youre not a car guy who maintains a car meticulously then you might want to skip the BMW because turbo cars require that you keep the oil changed on time and the rest of the car up to par or it will go to shit on you real fast, but last long enough so youre just outside of warranty. BMW has the best maintenance program by far but regardless who wants a car thats in the shop all the time. But if you are into taking care of your car you wont be disappointed in the 335 at all and dont let the maintenance factor into your decision.

IF you like these 2 cars then please also consider test driving the 370Z(if you can deal with a 2 seater) or a fully loaded 2007 G35

bump this old thread...wow Da Don was in here too huh?

Years back I decided that the G Coupe was the way to go, just based off of value. Why pay all that money for a BMW when the performance is so similar? Granted BMW may be the benchmark, but I personally like the look and feel of the coupe, that's why I got it.

I got the G37 convertible white/white....

I've been terrorizing the streets all summer. And with the top down...

Congrats on that! Have you driven the sedan also? I just wanna know is the experience the same, haven't driven the G37 coupe yet, but if it has the same powerful pull like the sedan I wanna upgrade to that one!

I got the black w/ cream interior.

Do you miss the handling of the cayenne or the build quality? I'm sure that the infiniti is the closest thing to a German car anyway.

I drove the sedan as a loaner car...they are garbage. Get the coupe it's a diff world and the convertible is a diff world from the coupe...test drive the convertible. Mine is only $500/month and worth every penny. It's fully loaded also. Try them all.

I still have the Cayenne S. This is the tristate area and I needed/wanted the ultimate summer car to match my ultimate fall/winter vehicle. Around town, that G37 is no joke, fast, brakes incredibly, handles like a dream. Gives me complete confidence like my old 745Li (again no Da Don). The Porsche (olive/tan) is a different animal and out classes the G37 easily. Brakes arent as good, it's not nearly as quick; however, my family falls asleep in it quickly. No one sleeps in the G37. 60-100 I think the Cayenne S would win.

Doesn't matter, I'm beasting most everything on the streets. This is NYC though and cats pulled up to the football game in a helicopter. I saw a Bentley coupe, Ferrari and a CL63 today. NYC reminds you that you don't have shit. Someone always has something better.

The Cayenne S was $80k got it for $62 and put $20 down. The G37 was $52 got it for $44 and leased it.

Not sure why I voted for BMW back then

But now I would pick the G37 easily

Another car I completely forgot about in the same price class that I would drive over both of these is the Caddilac CTS.

Shitty car, when I did my research on cars, these didn't come out good at all :smh:
