why ask HNIC for mod elections?
when you donate blood to red cross, are you given the right to vote on the recipient of the donor blood?
when you donate clothes or furniture to salvation army, do you hold an election on who will receive those goods?
when you donate your time as a volunteer for a charitable cause, do you vote on where your time will be allocated?

1. This thread is about starting something new, and original on BGOL. We need new blood in the moderator level. If you haven't read most of this board, you see some of the issues I'm bothered by.
2. Elections bring more entertainment. Think about people on this board campaigning against each other. Think of all the "ock" threads that will pop up. Good shit...
3. The power structure will become balance. HNIC, and the BGOL public will have the ability to hold the moderators accountable for their actions. If this was our government, HNIC would be the supreme court, and we will be Congress. HNIC has authority to judge if a moderator is holding the moderator job accordingly. Mods are here to protect us from FTP's, tranny attacks, and keep the rules inline.
