Man, board done had mod "problems" ever since you-know-who was an admin. Personally, I don't have a problem with any mods (a couple do shitty jobs, but not everyone can be Kobe). And once you understand how the board somewhat works, you probably won't either. The main board mods aren't involved in fuckery (outside of the mass-approved occasional Latinplaya ban).

This shit here is tame compared to broads muting niggas without showing their account as banned so nobody calls into question their actions, banning niggas that dare speak out against them, deleting all threads that diss them, etc etc, type fuckshit that was going on two or three years ago.

The board survived then and will now.

Maybe it's because I wasn't logging on heavy at first, but I don't really see the Blunt issues. I am lost a lot of times when people make those references. I remember Pikestreet being involved in a shyt load of bafoonery but I wasn't on the board paying attention.

Now I see a lot more and am glad I wasn't concerned with it back then. I may have fell into the troll trap. I would never troll, but I could see getting pissed off at the antics and it is never that serious.

Mods have access to IP addresses. They have to be trustworthy. The mods right now are cool with me. And it should be up to the site OWNERS disgression

With this being said, prior to the elections, there should be a consensus between us *the bgol public* on who WE nominate, and an understanding with HNIC.

Meaning, they both needs to be interviewed by HNIC about what he expects a mod should be about. Thus, he/she needs to have a "town hall" approach on what WE want that person to be about. Also, we need to have an open discussion on how a moderator should act. If you hold that title, you need to act accordingly.

I had it on ignore. People never use to quote it. Most would not even acknowledge it. Now everyone has full blown conversations with it.

A Mod needs to be honest, fair and balanced.

It also pays to be somewhat detached enough not to catch feelings and then base modding decisions on said caught feelings.

If HNIC sees merit in this motion, then I see no logical reason why an election for new or additional mods would not be in order.
