Ask A Insightful White Dude *Anything* Thread

:hmm:

The thread was stupid as iguana shit anyway.

OP was a wana be David Hume 'ol idiom-counter-innuendo -pseudo-allegorical- methaphorical-Robesonan-if-then-and-or-but-however-so-to-speak paragraph typing I can't believe it's not butter lookin' ass.

:hmm:

Damn.:smh:

 @ the lizard story ... you are silly

Ok I have a question that actually just came up in a thread I was in and also seems to come up alot on BGOL as a whole

Is it true that White men ONLY see Black women as a means for sex??? I ask this cuz the brothas on here are insisting that not only do they not want us but that White men don't want us either (outside of sex that is). I think they say that to make us feel bad and undesirable cuz they hate us but that is just IMO

BTW I have only dated brothas in my life

WOW... I'm not an "insightful White guy". I'd refer to my self as a "No B/S Brother". As a No B?S brother I will admit that most of the times when we have questions, we already know the answers.

Being a single black man I have to say that the replys in this thread is depressing and embarrassing. Seriously, when approached by a white man who is offering this type of insght ( granted he's failed miserably), the first and only question the sisters can come up with is...
"Do you want to have sex with me or do you really view me as an equal to white women"

This is really Fuggin Sad!!! This speaks volumes about the person that asked this question. And Lonestar this may seem like a personal attack, and in some ways it is. But, I'm hoping that since I'm calling you out on this it will make you think.
Since, I'm a "No B/S kind of brother. Like all no B/S kind of brothers, I'm going to inject an answer to this question, though my opinion was not requested.
The problem here is that the person asking this question is placing way too much thought into how another person values her. Thus showing that she either hasn't considered that she has value, values her self very little, or feels that she has no value; and is a waiting someone to assign her a value. So the real question is "What value will you a white man assign me since I am not presenting my own"... And the answer is you will be what ever he decides you will be.
FYI,
When you ask a question, you also give a lot of information. Since the first question is about black women being sex objects, what do you think you're telling him you are???

I'm going to start a Ask a No B/S brother thread...I wonder how many questions that will get...

Finally someone that get's it.

And you'd think this shit was so fucking obvious.

It's like that thread about dude that married his girl two weeks after they broke up and found out she fucked a dude in between.

99.8% of the responses completely ignored what a joke of a marriage they were making, talking about other irrelevant redundant shit.

There's an old Ibo proverb my grandma used to tell us when we were young. English translation goes:

"They told you that the church caught fire and you're asking whether the pastor's beard got burned" :hmm:

:smh:

GlennQuagmire is a deep brother with an appreciation for music and philosophy off of the beaten track so I can understand why you're feeling kind've lost out there in space.

Otherworldly planes are where it's at MelonP. (Breaking out the magic mushrooms and flinging on some Jimi Hendrix right about now.)

This thread is going to be a trip for real.

:hmm:

Ahem.

Don't make me bust out the science books for another lesson in human genetics and the workings of the human brain. I'll show you who's lost...

Maybe you missed the part in my post where I said we had just been discussing that in another thread and that is why I asked

Maybe you also missed the part where I said I only date brothas

Yeah ... I would say you did miss those parts hence all your assumptions about me

Are you Igbo?

Are you Igbo?

Mixed African heritage but effectively, yes.

Oh, and I called my grandma in the UK last night and got the ibo version of the proverb. I'll attempt to write it ...

"Ha si oku gbara church, i na ju ma o gbara ahonu fada"

I haven't read any of the posts, so if this has been asked, please exscuse it: Why do MOST white Americans think that 300 years of slavery + 100 years of LEGAL opression were completely eliminated and the after effects of all those years of subjugation are now a thing of the past?

And why do these same people fail to realize that while they may not have had a direct hand in all of that, they have reaped the benefits of it???

Kedu maka umunege!?

From a general perspective, in my personal opinion, I think it is rather futile to inquire what white people (men) think because it really isn't too much of a secret - and again, that's just in general regarding all subjects...

I'm mean, hell...if a person really wanted to know "what they think" without actually asking a white guy, there would be no one better than to ask a black man who makes $30 an hour or more working in corporate America.

Just ask how he got his job. :dunno:

Ha di nma.
