Even if he is the best player on the team, he takes WAY too many jump shots to my liking...

20FTAs in three games is not even close to enough when he has attempted 86 total FGAs.

I'd rather take a dude like Dwayne Wade or Paul Pierce's performance in Game 3 tonight over that. Drive the ball to the lane and force the defense to make a play or a foul and go to the line...He's an 85% foul shooter, so why not take the easier route to some points

That's what separates him from the elite. He should have better offensive awareness than he shows...

Look,Landry is a decent option at the 4 spot,but he's a power forward. It's ridiculous that the Rockets don't have a player over 6'10 other than Yao on the roster. They have to play "small ball" when he's on the bench. They get no criticism for this. They can't find any guy out there from 6'10-7-1 that can play PF/C that can give them some nice minutes and production when Yao needs a rest? Come the fuck on?

Yeah. Having the best record in the Western Conference is a clear sign that the Lakers aren't a championship caliber team.

The Lakers were rusty in game 1, and that's why they didn't win. This series should have been 3-0, but I can sleep knowing the Lakers are up 2-1.

We are going to the championship, guys. No one in the West will stop that from happening. The Cavs, on the other hand, will probably present some problems.

Actually, he has been among the leaders in FTA in the regular season...Tops in the league in one of those years...If that would carry over to the playoffs, then the Lakers would be nearly untouchable...

Lebron has increased his FTAs considerably in the playoffs compared to the regular season. Kobe has increased his FTAs as well, but it would be better if it was around 8 a game.

Kobe is the Elite starts with him and trickles down. Kobe shoots jumpers against these Rockets because the Rockets have collapsed the paint. Van Gundy and Jackson were saying it all game long.

But to be among the Magics, Jordans, Birds, Barkleys, and others in the all time list is to be able to consistently use the weapons around you. As "soft" as Gasol comes out to look, he can be very efficient at times...

It's that some people are regarding him not just among the top 50, but the top 15 or even 10. I don't think Barkley is among those top 15, but many consider him as the best PF (or top 4)...

I just hope that he's able to get his team to a title, either this year or in the next few. No one has more pressure to win a title than he does. We'll see what happens

mutombo was their guy he just got hurt. he was pretty durable before that so its not like they didn't have a good backup.

Kobe is top 10-15 easy he'll be top 5 or higher when he finishes with a couple more rings. all nba, all defense, mvp's, rings, not many players ever have his resume.Plus he'll be top 2-3 in scoring for his career.
