Teenage Girl Bites Cop During Arrest

this my friend, is bullshit.

not every cop is a law abiding citizen, and in some cases self defense is your best option.

but you're so brainwashed your thoughts are transparent, so you won't be able to understand this.

the next time a cop pulls you over....plese get out of the vehicle and run up to him and start punching him...please do that...I'm begging you to please do that...please...better yet, go somewhere in your hood and get a dope boy to sell you a gun and keep it in your car...

and the next time you get pulled over get out of the car and start shooting the officer. Even if it's one of my family members. I'm begging you to do this
....PLEASE DO THIS!!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!

 I would have tasered her ass....2 times...

I guess you don't know federal laws, even if she bites him, throws a shoe at him is the same as pulling a gun on him....in the eyes of our federal system. He had everyright to use deadly force at that point. She attacked him.....learn your laws...My entire family are Police, Sheriff's , Swat, and State Troopers....

dayum HALO, did any of des ppl touch u n a "private place"?

learn you state and federal laws, knowing what you can do and can't do will save your life.

:dunno:jus askin

you are incorrect. If he had used deadly force he would be facing murder charges. Use of deadly force is only authorized to prevent the loss of life or serious bodily harm, and as a last resort. The tape clearly shows the bite was not that bad.. in this circumstance even if he had hit her with a baton it would have been considered excessive force...thats why he didn't do it. He used mace/pepper spray. He handled himself pretty well, within proper training.

Now if it was a dude punching him and biting him and there were engaged in a fight, deadly force would be warranted because his life was threatened. the circumstances will dictate the the type/amount of force to be used. And they are trained to know when to use it.

Maybe youre the one who needs to read up on federal laws.

People dont call the cops because they think cops are such wonderful heroes that will save them. They call because society has conditioned them to not defend themselves and arm themselves and their own property. You will face a long legal battle if you did so... Ive said to myself on a few occasions "let me call the cops before I end up getting in some serious trouble"

As far as the girl.. yes she should have calmed down.. but she's a child and was probably not thinking and scared shitless. Im glad the cameras were rolling...

btw- FUCK PIGS!

Utter nonsense!

Wrong clown using a Taser is not the use of deadly force, you don't know what training police officers receive so stop right there.

Again shut the fuck up if you dn't know what the fuck you are talking about. If any cop uses deadly force against someone who is not armed but merely fighting them fist to fist will get his ass jammed the fuck up and get in trouble with his department. That officr would have to explain why he used deadly force against someone who wasn't armed and posed no deadly threat.

As an officer if you are fighting with some perp and doing hand to hand that is what they teach in the academy its called defensive tactics, boxing. You are trained to use the tools on your duty belt like OC spray, baton and your radio to call for back up. Officers only raise the level of deadly force when there ARE GUNS INVOLVED.

Next time don't speak on shit you clearly know nothing about.

what in the world does this have to do with the statement i made?

being pulled over for a ticket and having the officer behave with respect does not warrant self defense.

being ordered out of your car at two a.m. in your driveway by an armed man who does not identify himself as a policeman, then having said man shoot you after he's pointed his gun at your mother all the while you're on your stomach with your hands on your head DOES.

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/30091500/

having crooked cops bust down your door, shoot you, then let you bleed to death FOR NO REASON does.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,499544,00.html

having a cop shoot you in the back while you are laying on the ground handcuffed AND COMPLETELY INNOCENT DOES.

as i stated earlier, most of the encounters i've had with police have been positive, but not all police are law abiding citizens. i'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 if i run into one of the latter.

now i hope YOU run into one of the dirty ones...wait, your kinfolk are probably klansmen. y'all ARE the dirty ones.

Thats funny thats the same motto I live by everyday I go to work
You still doing security in memphis nigga

incorrect. I think this and your last post in this thread made my IQ drop.

I'm not sure how you think biting the cop saved that girls life. Now instead of just getting locked up for dosorderly coduct or something now she's getting charged with aggravated assault.

Great move.

How did it save her life? Its dark, the is out there with the cop alone. If she just cooperated ANYTHING could have happened to her and I mean ANYTHING! Yes, a lot of cops are okay but that profession attracts sick power-tripping people just like jobs involving children attract pedophiles. Making noise and putting up a fight probably got her noticed and forced him to put her in front of the camera. You have your opinion and I have mine. I never trust those motherfuckers alone. The result sucks but I still say it was a good move.

I dont trust pigs either. I never pull over for a cop if I'm alone on a dark road if if there are no witnesses. At night.. I pull into a gas station or in public view.

I've also been known to stop if I see a cop stop another car and its dark and there are no other witnesses. I just pull over, a safe distance away, with my lights on, to let them pigs know they are being watched.

The difference is that your suggestion will get people jail time which is what everyone is trying to avoid. Out here in Cali' if you're concerned about your safety you put your blinkers on to alert the Officer that you're aware of their presence and are looking for the next available lighted area. But your fright should never interfere with the Officer doing their job which is what happened in said video. You do not get pulled out of the vehicle and apprehend for no reason whatsoever so it's more than likely that she was in violation of the Vehicle Code and was unable to continue operating the vehicle legally.

Are you black?

Yes but if you can't make your point without bringing my race into the picture the issue is with you.

I was just curious.. only people Ive ever heard say "you do not get pulled out of the vehicle ...for no reason" is white people. So, if you were white I would understand where you are coming from

The exception is never the rule in life, ever. People say "I don't like to fly on planes because they always crash" but they never factor in the amount of planes that land as scheduled every single day. So in other words...yes, there are cases of abuse of power by some Officers but when you compare that to the amount of stops that go as planned you will see how small the actual abuse is. Some Departments don't even require their Officer's to call in a stop so it's impossible to gain the actual numbers of successful stops in a year span.

I just did some research on the video and come to find out the officer was responding to a 9/11 call which reported that there were people suspiciously wondering around the neighborhood at 1:50 AM, carrying bags. When the cop showed up the girl refused to answer any questions, and he noticed that the clothes she was wearing still had the price tags on them. She also was carrying a garbage bag full of clothes which also still had the price tags on them. All she had to do was comply with the Officer and she would have gotten a ticket and a ride home at tops. But since she wanted to be Bobby Badass now she can spend some time in Juvenile Detention and lose valuable days in school.

Why was she stopped?

I just did some research on the video and come to find out she was in violation of a Curfew Law and that's what sparked the incident. All she had to do was comply with the Officer and she would have gotten a ticket and a ride home at tops. But since she wanted to be Bobby Badass now she can spend some time in Juvenile Detention and lose valuable days in school.

I was talking to a white girl recently who was pulled over by a cop in a deserted area. She put a small crack in her window to slide her papers through. The cop asked her to get out of the car an she refused. He couldn't even taze her through that little crack. He just slid the ticket in that little crack and let her go.

Police abuse far outnumbers plane crashes so you need a better analogy.

Why was she stopped?

...neighborhood resident Ms. Susan Sheats who had called 911 to report two people suspiciously wandering around the neighborhood. Gilroy responded to the call. Sheats said her dogs started barking, and “it was late.” She looked outside and saw two people, watching until they were out of sight. Sheats returned to bed, and the dogs began to bark again. She saw the same two people, she said. “This time they were carrying bags.” Sheats added she felt she needed to call as something did not seem right.

Gilroy responded to the call, and found Shelwanda Riley walking on the street. Riley refused to answer basic questions, and because she appeared to be a juvenile out after curfew, and also because she was wearing clothes with price tags still affixed, Gilroy tried repeatedly to ask Riley questions. The complete videotape showed Gilroy asking the juvenile numerous times to cooperate with him, only using physical force after Riley bit him on the arm.

So what? One Cop's actions are not the actions of all 800k+ Officers in the United States. That's like someone saying that all Black People are violent just because they got jumped by some.

Reading comprehension isn't your strength I'm guessing huh? The point is that when you compare the number of abuses to the number of just Police Stops you will see that the problem while horrible is not as widespread as people make it. Same with Plane crashes...seems like every week we hear about one...but when you compare the amount of crashes to the amount of successful flights you'll see it's not that widespread of an issue.

sigh.. shes a dummy.. doesnt she know to run from cops? :smh: especially those trying to enforce bullshit curfew laws.

Curfew Laws aren't bullshit. Individuals over 18 have no business roaming the streets at 1 in the morning at all.

Every single case of abuse is horrible. Who cares how low the number may appear to white folks, 1 case of Abuse of power/authority is too fucking many...

As a parent I make that decision for my child. The gov't has no business making those type of laws... it is BULLSHIT (as most laws are)
