**~~official Wrestlemania 25 Discussion Thread~~**

Orton is the leader of a group called 'Legacy'. 'Legacy' members are all sons of former wrestlers. People have been speculating if one of the McMahons would join the group.

BTW-this is why the order of the matches are important. Micheals/UT sucked the energy out of the crowd...the audience is DEAD for this match.

True. I'm enjoying the match so far (with the exception of the start :hmm:) but this seems to pale in comparison to the classic that Michaels and Taker had earlier.

The Legacy Killer

For months, the venomous Randy Orton tore through the life of Triple H, brutally attacking and injuring his father-in-law, brother-in-law and even his wife. At the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, The Legend Killer had an opportunity to take away yet another thing his rival held dear: The WWE Championship. Yet despite Orton’s sadistic mind games, Triple H persevered, defeating his opponent to avenge his family and keep his coveted championship gold resting securely around his waist.

they've been trying to make him as popular as a Rock or Stone Cold since the DX days...:smh: (not that he isnt that popular...just sayin)

The HHH experiment needs to be stopped (and the Randy Orton experiment needs to be retooled). RNN era Randy Orton would be immensely more interesting than the current one. To date, I think I've only really enjoyed 5 orton matches (Orton/Batista/Flair vs Rock/Foley, Orton vs Foley, Orton vs Edge from RAW when they were both heels, and Orton vs UT from WM). Whoops, miscounted. I think I only enjoyed 4 Orton matches. I haven't seen WM yet, but from reading the results it sounds like this HHH vs Orton match won't make me think any higher of Orton either.

HHH, while he does have a decent number of great matches under his belt, post-quad injury HHH has only had a couple genuinely tight matches that didn't involve Michaels, Benoit, or Benjamin. He just isn't THAT guy no matter how much he thinks he is or how many times the WWE wants to present us with him as if he was. The Rock had IT, Austin (racism aside) had IT, Foley had IT, Benoit had IT, and Angle had IT. All the above men had their special WM moment that HHH seems to want so desperately. It just ain't gonna happen. I wish he'd wake up to it. Fans don't buy him as a babyface at the main event level. They likely never will.
