1) The victim, in this case, is a renowned, admired celebrity.

2) The issue of violence is always considered worse than an issue of sex.

3) Sleeping with older, adult men is a common favorable experience for young teenage girls in the hood.

in CB's case its had to prove the intent but you have a phusical injury and no weapon was used so he would be charged with the lessor degree with is a misdeamnor here in the state of NY

I usually don't comment on things in here but I have to agree with the poster , this is RIDICULOUS !!! First of all Chris Brown was not charged with Domestic Violence he was charged with making Terrorist Threats . He told her he would kill her , how many times have we all got angry and said something to the same effect ?
Let me give you some of my history , I'm the father of 13 children , 10 of them girls and a few of them have gone through the Domestic Violence thing , 2 being the victim and one being the aggressor so don't say to me what if it was your daughter . It is wrong to hit a woman , it is equally wrong for a woman to hit a man and think that it's ok.
These celebrities are some of the most fickle people out there and there opinion doesn't matter to me but they have fans and because of their celebrity they have the power of persuasion .
R. Kelly = GUILTY Jay Z = GUILTY Money won't buy you a place in Heaven or forgiveness of the soul.

And there you have it... even you have just admitted that there are instances when a man can hit a woman. And just as you have cited an instance where it is OK to hit a woman, many other men have their own "rules" as well, which vary from guy to guy.

Violence is never a cool situation. But depending on the events that led up to it, I'd at least have reasonable understanding as to why it went down. You seem to want to get into the absolute rhetoric of whether or not something is OK or cool, although you yourself don't have such absolute rules. And rather than understanding that not every man is built the same, you expect men to abide by such absolute rules?
