Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF?!

I second that. Would you rather for him to defend himself behind the wheel or get his ass kick behind the wheel like Chuck Finley did with his wife at the time Tawny Kattan? I think their kids was in the car.:smh:

If you big enough to throw a punch, you're big enough to take one.

First off Jay is full of shit for all the songs he made degrading women 99 problems, the originators, excuse me miss, popping tags fuck all nite, nigga please, 2 many hoes, bitches and sisters, girls girls girls 1 & 2, All i Need, I just wanna love you, get your mind right, parking lot pimping, Aint no Nigga, Cashmere Thoughts, Sunshine, Who you Wit 1 & 2, Face off, Money Cash Hoes, Can I get a, Money Ain't A Thing,

Jay need to shut the fuck up he is in no position to offer anything, that shit is just off the top of my head and my ipod if i really looked i could come up with more :smh:

2 it kills me hearing dudes talk about how men need to man up and just let women disrespect them. This kind of lopsided bullshit is exactly why nobody knows their place. Automatically its the mans fault and he needs to know better but the women are never held accountable for their actions.

I don't know what happened to Chris Brown so i won't comment on it but i do have personal stories about women who know a guy SHOULDN'T HIT BACK and they used it to their advantage hitting him with rolling pins setting dogs on him cutting his tires burning his clothes. I got stories about girls pulling knives on guys and trying to stab him and yet we still fall back in a man knowing his place.

When are women going to know theirs? Society is fucked up because we encourage women to get away with treating men like shit. If rihanna started this and did even worse shit why is she allowed to be coddled and people reaching out for her feelings she is just going to repeat this nonsense. Again i don't know what happened and i'm not saying she is at fault but women are automatically on the winning side in child custody and any assault case no matter what the situation or what lead to it. The courts are slanted in their favor and it is helping to encourage this backward ass behavior. :hmm:

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

I'm surprised no one mentioned that in Kelly's case, the victim was uncooperative with the investigation and the alleged girl claimed that it was not her. While in Chris' case, Rihanna is cooperating with the investigation. I believe that if the girl in Kelly's case would have gave interviews, made statements, etc., public perception of him would have been significantly different.

I'm also surprised in Kelly's case that they didn't mention that he's married to Aliyah when she's 15 & he's 28. Also, I think he have a son with a girl that's 13 at the time. The prosecution should've gotten 50 to search for information.:lol:

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

The answer is twofold and dudes have already said it:
1. Rihanna is famous and people care about famous people more than other people.
2. R. Kelly was a much bigger star, he is/was one of the most talented cats of the last 2 decades. The dude was really incredible with the songwriting ad hitmaking, Chris Brown is just a young singer. R. Kelly is on some Hall of Fame shit, Chris Brown jst got in the league.

This is pretty much it. Give Chris couple more years in the industry and see what would have been said.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

Because she's famous !!!
If it was an everyday Jill this story would have gone away quickly, and half the world would have stated the woman was lying and trying to get money from Chris. The same way everyone likely felt about Tyson,Tupac and tons of other famous men.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

.....because while Chris Brown has had more "hits", R.Kelly has had more hits.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

The attitude some of you cats have about adult/child sex is fuckin' fowl and frightening. :smh:

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

ti and jay did tracks w/ rihanna...i don't think any of them did collabos w/ chris brown...they have more of a relationship w/ rihanna professional or otherwise than they do w/ him so of course they gonna side w/ her...it's that simple...

Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF?!

Can you believe TI had the nerve to retract a statement of support for Chris Brown... T-fuckin-I?!!!!!! Even Jay Z had the audacity to say, "If you can't have compassion for others ... just imagine it being your sister or your mom or someone like that, then think about how you should talk about that. I just think we all should just support her," he continued. "She's going through a tough time. You gotta realize she's a young girl, as well. She's very young."

This coming from the same nigga who not only recorded a collabo CD, but shot video and went on a world tour with non other than R (child molester of young girls) Kelly! Like he's not the same nigga who not only worked with R.Kelly, but also worked with him on a song to plea his innocence for a crime he DID commit (stabbing Lance Un Rivera). Now he's ready to feed Chris Brown to the press as 'guilty before proven inncoent? That sound familiar? It should...

[FLASH]http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/k7wCFmvHJUHE1Q1AcN[/FLASH]

The hypocrisy is incredible... :smh:

I'm nearing Black women shit on Chris Brown in a way that I NEVER heard them shit o R.Kelly. How many times did any of you fellas hear a Black woman say "those girls knew what they were doing"? Or some other excuse along the lines of undermining R.Kelly's victim's credibility? I've even heard women say they knew he was guilty, but he makes good music. WTF does one have to do with the other?

Now, if you even suggest that Rihanna might have 'earned' the ass whoopin' she ALLEGEDLY got, you're a "typical Black man" and an a jerk. LOL! Fuck you, bitches! FREE CHRIS BROWN! I'll get off that shit when all the celebrities and Black women who either supported R.Kelly or refused to criticize him, get off Chris Brown's back.

BTW... Does THIS strike you as a man in a position
to criticize Chris Brown about mistreating a woman?

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

Simple

R Kelly pissed on some underage girl and sexed her up, and paid her off

Chris Brown got sick of Rhianna's shit after simping for her and blew a fuse

Chris Brown acting out, not being the cooperative bitch made black man for that moment irks some black women

Being disrespected, sexed up, and given hush money is A-OK with them, hell, they was envious of that little girl in some cases:smh:

 ...true...

That only addresses one half of the question. It's not a matter of why they'd support Rihanna. But why they'd enable a pedophile over an alleged simple assaulter.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

kellz makes classic music... cb makes bullshit pop songs that r hot for 5 listens

kellz was found not guilty
the verdict isnt out on cb

kellz was alleged to have consensual sex with young females, who while they may or may not have been legally underage, they were old enough to know they were fucking, and totally conscious of wat they were doing

cb put the beats on rihanna... wtf is the explanation for hitting a woman?

they are both wrong, but in this country its better to be a sexual predator with a good lawyer than sum1 that physically abuses women.

Just because he was found innocent doesnt mean he wasnt guilty for fuckin an underage girl.

So you tellin me if you had an underage daughter and she gave the guy permission to fuck her.....You wouldnt want to see the guy in jail....get the fuck out of here with that bullshit...:smh::smh::smh:

More than that, his 'not guilty' verdict came after most of the clear evidence (proof) against him was struck from presentation. A nigga claiming innocence with video footage of him committing the crime floating around is absurd. Everybody knows the nigga's guilty. Using the verdict to excuse him is a cop out. Besides most of the dick riding came before the verdict anyway. Niggas are full of shit with that.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

So if someone hit your mom or sister, because she hit them first that would be ok?

Yep, the hypocrisy is insane :smh:

nigga please????

decisions and consequences

if my female fam put their hands on a man for absolutely no reason but jealousy, they had it coming

fortunately, "most" women in my family understand when its time to leave a bad situation and move on..thats what a real women does

its funny how youre taking the broads side without knowing the full details

Rihanna clearly has an anger problem and shes probably spoiled beyond belief

I just cant run and take her side, when she smashed a bottle over her brothers head....her own flesh and blood

if she did that to blood fam, what would she do to her boyfriend?

that bitch lost it in the car and dude couldnt take it anymore

anyone whos ever had a crazy bitch knows exactly how it went down

im not sitting there taking damage from her long ass nails and the the countless other shit women carry, because you believe in some dumb ass outdated morals

I wont hit a woman but ive shaken the shit out of a lot of them

oh yeah, chris brown had injuries too

its obvious you dont have that many experiences with women or you live in Mayberry

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

I haven't read all the post in this thread but...

It seems to me that the difference is folks like Rihanna and don't give a shit about some 14 y/o girl they don't know. If an unknown woman charged him w/ domestic violence or even (non-statutory) rape we'd probably see the usual wagons circling.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

I haven't heard any of these people defending Rihanna and ostracizing Chris mention this at all. As much as Chris has a history of being around abuse he doesn't have a history of doing it himself. Something happened to make him snap.

People poke tigers at the zoo all the time when that shit mauls somebody they put the tiger down but nobody screams on the person doing the poking. There are victims in life and their are instigators. The reaction is never warranted or justified but Cot-damnit if i poke a tiger and that shit mauls me i don't deserve any simpathy period.

This dynamic is fucked up because of gender when Lionel Richie got his ass beat down by his crazy wife these same outraged people were laughing at him.

But these same women who are criticizing Chris Brown are the same ones that was bumping R. Kelly when their was a videotape that show it was him..But criticize a sitution that nobody really knows....that doesnt make sense at all....I dont care if R.Kelly has more star power than Chris Brown if you gonna get pissed at Chris Brown do the same thing in the R.Kelly case..

R.Kelly had more evidence against him than Chris Brown will ever have but alot of women in this country defend this pedophile like it wasnt shit...These women cant say they are against pedophiles but still listen to R.Kelly's music but when a situation like Chris Brown's comes they wanna flip flop....that too me is bullshit......

That how much stupidity this country has become in the past 10 years....

Note:I am talkin about R.Kelly fans

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

I dont give a fuck about either situation but the reason people are madder at CB is that he beat a bitch up and kellz fucked a under-age chick who was clearly already a pro hoe and it was consensual. The violence is considered worse than statuatory rape. And no I wouldnt want my 15 year old fuckin with a 20 or 30 year old I would be pissed and try to stop it but she knows better anyway. But I would kill a nigga if he beat on her. So I guess what CB did is worse? I dunno.

If Chris brown beat Rihanna for no reason, he just woke up one morning and decided to slap her than i would be like yo beat his ass i hope he goes to jail the whole nine yards.

But if Chris Brown has scars as well then this could easily turn from a vicious assault to a fight. All you people quick to jump to Rihannas defense are forgetting there is a difference between an Assault and a Fight.

In a fight both people throw punches, both people are at fault and both people cross the line. In a assault one person is doing it. To me if a woman is throwing punches then she can't claim the i'm a weak woman i'm fragile bullshit.

I wasn't there i don't know what happened but if Chris Brown does indeed have bruises and scratches my money is this thing was a fight. And if this thing was a fight chances are Rihanna is NOT innocent. And If Rihanna is NOT innocent in this incident then these holier than though people who looked the other way when R Kelly was peeing on under aged little girls need to shut the fuck up and move on and let them work it out. :hmm:

Its funny everybody made up their mind so quick and jumped to her defense like women don't ever do underhanded shit and play dirty.

rkelly ain't hit nobody

not taking sides

so ur saying that you would rather have a grown man bone ur underaged daughter

than to have ur 19-20 yr old daughter beat up by her 19-20 yr old Boyfriend?

just askin not taking sides

My .02

I think a lot people looked passed because, 1. The girl denied it was her. 2.R Kelly denied it was him. Not saying its right but that's how some people think.

The fact that people know its Chris Brown for sure makes it easier for them to defend Rhianna. They really didn't have anyone to defend in the R Kelly sex tape scandal. Because they both denied it.

Don't forget that the whole music industry turned a blind eye to the fact R Kelly married a 14yr old girl.

The gloves are off... It's nigga season in the press!

Terrence Howard's Fists Of Fury: Actor, a Chris Brown supporter, was once nabbed for beating wife

0217091howard1.jpg

Source Link HERE

FEBRUARY 17--After Chris Brown's arrest for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna, the actor Terrence Howard chose to salute the alleged batterer. "It's just life, man. Chris is a great guy. He'll be alright," said Howard. "And Rihanna knows he loves her, you know? They'll be alright."

Though Howard would later apologize for his remarks, the star's own rap sheet offers an explanation as to why he would jump to the side of an accused domestic abuser.

Police and court records reveal that Howard, 39, was once arrested for a similar crime, the details of which have not been previously reported. The actor, who co-starred in "Iron Man" and was nominated in 2006 for an Academy Award for his role in "Hustle & Flow," was arrested by Pennsylvania cops in September 2001 for assaulting his estranged wife.

According to a Whitemarsh Police Department report, after Howard and Lori McCommas argued on the phone, the actor warned, "Don't disrespect me by hanging up on me or I'll come over and hurt you." McCommas then "hung up and contacted 911 fearing Howard was serious." While McCommas was speaking with a police dispatcher, Howard "showed up at the victim's residence and began breaking the door down."

McCommas ran to the rear of the house and into the backyard. Howard then "broke the front door down and ran through the screen door in the kitchen. Howard then grabbed the victim's left arm and punched her twice with a closed fist in the left side of the face."

The attack was broken up by Howard's brother, who responded to McCommas's house after he "saw Howard storm out of their house to go to the victim's house." When a Whitemarsh cop responded to the scene, Howard admitted, "I broke the door down and hit my wife." A second officer noted there was "fresh damage to the front door and marks on the victim's face and arm from being struck."

Police evidence photos show the damage Howard did to the doors in McCommas's residence. After being charged with a variety of crimes (simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and stalking), Howard subsequently pleaded guilty in 2002 to disorderly conduct.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

Let it be know... Any nigga NOT taking Rihanna's side WILL be put on blast. So your past better be on point. Jay Z's speaks up for Rihanna, his violent past is ignored. Terrence Howard speaks passively up for Chris and his past is put on front street. WTF, now? :hmm:

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

I'm surprised we hadn't heard more about Howard's past previously.

Re: Why Are So Many Black Women & Celebrities Harder On Chris Brown Than R.Kelly? WTF

Because most dudes sleep with young girls so they can relate to R-Kelly

Young girls often lie about their age so what happens to them although not legal is consensual. Punching and biting a woman is neither legal nor consensual.
