Tons of people at the Con said they absolutely ENJOYED it!

Now I love Morrison's respect and homages to a lot of DC's late 60s/early 70s Characters that he's done. And honestly, I haven't finished the entire series. But after being at the Comic Con, I decided that I'm going to have to get all those issues together and read them from beginning to end.

I think DC let Morrison have his way because only very few people understand what he's doing on a given project.

And let's be real...

NO ONE writes like that Dude.
That's not to say that there aren't other great comic book writers. It's just that Morrison is in a class by himself.

No doubt the art is fantastic in these books. HM has fallen off hard since the early 2000's. The art now looks so half assed it reminds me of the bad drawings you see in these shitty Role playing game books.
