Where Is Brandon Jennings?

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basket...rope-experiment-isn-t-workin?urn=ncaab,136589

Just read this article today. They make it sound like Jennings will be last High School kid to do something like this.

Quote from Jennings:
"I've gotten paid on time once this year. They treat me like I'm a little kid. They don't see me as a man. If you get on a good team, you might not play a lot. Some nights you'll play a lot; some nights you won't play at all. That's just how it is." He making some money though so fuck it.

This was a terrible move. He is/was being manipulated by folks for their own personal gain. The Under Armor shit is bullshit, peanuts at best. He needs to look at those so called "advisors" he has listened to. He should have been here playing D1 and experiencing college and the game, instead he is off the radar. He could have stayed here and signed with an agent and worked out. He could have stayed and played the D league. Remember the season has a way to go, not half way done yet. He won't finish the season:smh::smh::smh:

I don't think it was a complete terrible move just yet. We will find out draft night.

Like the article mention they don't see why he is shocked about his experience. I remember reading interviews from players like Dee Brown that guard from Illinois saying they don't get paid on time and its not just a good experience out there. They tried to warn him.

Yeah you right, right now it doesn't look too good, but maybe on draft night he will be vindicated.:smh::smh:

I talk to his Mom daily, she and his younger brother are living with him over in Rome. It has been tough for him, he's been used to starting and being the man, its different over there. They didn't need him to be Brandon Jennings the HS phenom. They needed him to be a back up pg, a team player, a spark off the bench, a role player.

New role for him, his mom told me that he came home a couple of nights ago and told her that he had found out that if he does what the coach wants him to do then he will allow him to stay on the court. That was big for him! Cause initially his minutes were limited and he didn't know why. He wasn't playing his role.

He has had days where he would stay after practice to work on his game with asst coaches, not knowing NBA scouts were sitting up top watching. So they have had the opportunity to see his work ethic, there have been as many as 12 NBA coaches watching him play at times. He's not disappointing them at all, college can not compare to the experience he's getting over there.

I talked with a Reebok exec tonight and I asked him what were the NBA people saying. His answer was they're talking about him, so thats always a good thing!

I believe he's the best pg entering the draft this year! His team made it to the playoffs so he'll get to experience playing playoff basketball against pros. he played against phenom Ricky Rubio and had one of his best games of the season. His numbers are low but he has been getting good press!

Read an article how the NBA scouts were excited about he's maturity and work ethics. The only Reason you aint hearing much about him is coz it's the euroleague is not promoted that much in the media. They showed the Game he played against Rubio on NBA TV.

Man, Euroleague is tougher than the dleague. Most dleague players never stayin the Euroleague, coz they get cut. Brandon jennings is gaining experience, just because he's not being shown on TV doesnt mean NBA scouts are sleeping on him.

Also, the Times fails to mention two key factors in Jennings' decision: the fact fact that he wasn't academically eligible to play in college when he turned pro and the chaos in the Arizona basketball program. Reports indicate that the Arizona recruit was awaiting the results of his third SAT test when he signed his professional contract, something that makes him less of a trailblazer and more of an 18-year old painted into a corner. Since almost every other high school star becomes academically eligible to play NCAA basketball, they probably won't feel forced to take their game overseas.

Okay and? We all knew that he hadn't gotten the SAT score when he signed the contract and no one knows if he got the necessary score on that test cause he signed before the results came in.

Nevertheless he is the first to pursue this route though whether it is trailblazing can only determined by how many other high school stars follow his path. He could gone the prep route, chilled at IMG for a year, etc. He chose happened to take the hardest route as well as the most financially secure route. That's it and he's still in position to be a lottery pick and a future All-Star.

well that was new info to me,so WE did ALL not know.
wake up dukes
he will not be a lottery pick...

He couldn't play D1 ball. He was too dumb to even get into college. If he didn't go play overseas he'd be balling at a Juco or a prep school right now. Him not making the grades was the whole reason that he even decided to go play in Europe

Exactly, if im not mistaken that is why KG didn't go to college

the wild part about KG tho is that he found out that he actually qualified after he declared

I had a chance to meet KG when I was a kid when he was a rookie with Wolves...that dude really wanted to go to school he was telling me and my brother how important it was to stay in school and go to school...just on some real nigga shit...no cameras or nothing around.

So let me get this right I and other people in this thread have more knowledge of his situation than you. And people have stated that he'll be a high pick. Chad Ford on ESPN has him as the #12 prospect right now and nbadraft.net has him in their Top 10 but you're opinion that he won't be a lottery pick should be the standard.
:smh:

Barring injuries or bad workouts he'll be a lottery pick. The only PG I could see having an adverse effect on him otherwise is Jeff Teague from Wake Forest.

??

THAT WAS RONNY FIELDS AND DARIUS MILES I BELIEVE.

KG WENT TO THE DRAFT FOR THAT GUAP.

chad ford had darko number 2 , like joe dumars

and i believe oak hill WAS a prep school.

The story is that KG didn't know he had the necessary SAT score until after he declared for the draft. Before then his freshman eligibility status was up in the air. With Fields, he broke his neck plus DePaul didn't admit him. But he would have had to be a Prop 48 case since he didn't get a high enough score.

Okay Chad Ford had Darko #2 like Dumars. He went in the lottery with the 2nd pick. My point is that as of now Jennings is still considered a lottery pick. What happens after that is anyone's guess though he's shown that he's very talented.
Oak Hill is a small, private school. It serves grades 8-12. Hargrave and St. Thomas More are both considered prep schools and the IMG academy in Florida is another place he could have gone.

kg didnt go because of grades, but i dont think he wanted to go anyway.Who is gonna pass up that kinda cake at that age?

expected to be the #12 pick(barely a lottery pick)? lol watch how easily that slip to #25.

anyway like i said before he`s gonna get paid either way and thats what counts...
