I think in general PC gaming is corny. I just wanted a game to test my system. I can't get with using the keyboard and mouse for gaming.

anyway gotta co-sign sega fukkin up yet again. they fucked up on the Saturn (which was better than ps 1) and they fukked up on dreamcast which was better than ps2. they let bad mgmt and piracy kill the dreamcast. i still play my saturn and dreamcast till this day. they both kick ass when it comes to fighting games.
I agree. I used to me a PC gaming crack head. Then i started to give console more of a shot and was very surprised at how well a lot of the games are.

lol it isn't contradicted by the fact that i'm playing left 4 dead. If you read correctly, I didn't say that was the reason. Left 4 dead is just one game i'm playing now. Also, I don't care if it's on the 360. As much as I enjoy playing shooters with a controller, with no customization, no server browser and having to automatically connect to random games via matchmaking, no text-chatting ingame, and rrod'ing out of my ass. I'll stick to playing it on pc.

For one its on a console so it optimized. The server browser i really don't need because i have over 100 friends on live and over 20 of them have the game. We can text chat through live but not ingame. Who care about in game text chat when we have full in game voice chat? Never had the RROD and i have a launch console so maybe i was lucky but its still the same damn core game with different technical features. In game chat...

? It isn't optimized on consoles, it's simply optimized for that respective console. The use of the text chat is the flexibility of both, given people don't use voice (which i've found most people don't). Instead of this or absolutely no communication you always have some form of basic communication that everyone is going to use. Not to mention making things visible and more clear. While over 20 people is nice, 10s of thousands upwards is better. They aren't always going to be playing and chances are that number will go down. Then you'll be in the dark waiting for matchmaking to send you to a random server. Not to mention user created content.

You gotta be kidding. Xbox live shines because it has absolutely no competition on consoles. Even valve's steam service, by itself, completely shits on it. And it's free.Don't care about mods anymore because i waisted a shit load of my life with so many other PC games mods. Also i on my way to the 100+ 360 games on my shelf mark so people not playing anymore is not a big thing to me. 10s of thousands upwards is better to you i guess but i rather play with people i can count on then random ass people who bullshit around. Thats cool to. I'll get back into PC gaming again when they get some real exclusive shit that has some banging gameplay. Pc game was for fun at first but it always ends up changing into a money war to get the latest and greatest 3D card. It always turns out that way because a lot of people turn into graphics whores. Or the read a mag and it tells them how a game performs on a certain card and its like crack... You have to have that card to make you game better.

I remember that episode. Man i bet that XBOX still worked if the face plate did not come off. Also i went through 7 PS2's but i have a friend at EB that would swap them out for me. Man my PS2's got the fucked up disc tray shit and the Disc Read Error that sony was sued for near the end of the PS2's life span. Shit it was to lat then because many people had already bought a couple new ones. It got to the point where i learned how to fix the PS2 disc tray issue and i was charging cats to fix that shit. It was Sony's own fault, high ass price combined with lack of games, means shitty sales.
Its good for Sony to get their asses handed to them every now and then. The reason Nintendo's games suck is that third party companies fuckin push out mass produced games to get Mom's and Dad's to play. X-Box cares about their core gamers.. Shit with games like Dead Space and Fable.. Sony stood no chance.

I got a Wii and PS3 and sold my 360 cuz the shit was fucking up too much and not worth the hassle of getting a refurb or it repaired over and over. Eventhough ps3 is lacking in sales. It is the best system in my opinion. I'm berserk with the MGO. I'm so hooked on that I don't even like to play other games anymore. NBA2k9 on PS3 was a big disapointment to me.
