Video game console results for 2008

No lie I say a short prayer everytime I turn on my 360 I never play for more then 2 hours then when I'm done I unplug all the power cords just so I won't get the red ring.....My son has a Wii its just to kiddie for me.
Blu-ray will not do shit for them especially since blu-ray players are already priced cheaper than the PS3. If Sony does not get their act together as in getting some tight ass exclusive titles, the fucking PS3 is a brick, clunker...DONE...!!!
If they drop the price I may still pick one up. I'm a Metal Gear Solid nut. However I'm waiting to see if it makes to Xbox 360. If that happens then I'll pick up an Xbox, but only the one with the new Jasper chipset.I'll be pissed if I am a victim of the RROD.

i been said that the ps3 was trash when it came to GAMES. This summer that passed i had a g to burn. i went into gamestop to check out the ps3. i couldn't even think of FIVE games that i wanted to buy outside of msg4. shit was pathetic. long story short i picked up some games for my 360 and my son's wii.

About time. They all should have had it. But they call themselves making it $399 with wifi but at the cost of backwards compatibility. That was a gay move.
I have ps3, wii, and 360. The games suck / are mediocre for all 3. It means nothing that other consoles have larger libraries, if the libraries are full of garbage. Wii has collected more dust than anything else, the gimmick got old fast. Besides sports games and the occasional exclusive, console gaming is just not where it's at. PC
I haven't even played games on my PS3 during the break...it's good though as an entertainment center but I am slowly but surely having regrets...I could have just bought a cpu instead like I had initially planned and hook it up to the TV...and achieved the same shit as far as watching movies and playing music which is what I mostly use it for...it's not a knock on the system but I just get bored of video games after a while...that being said I'ma still plunk down $$$ on a 360 next month...
360 is a great media hub too. It's a media extender with vista, can stream the flicks both dirty and otherwise to the 360. Netflix on demand pushing dvd quality videos with little no playback problems. If I can get a free code for Playon I'm in business, my free trial ran out ( it let's you watch hulu and youtube on the 360.)
The Wii is a good party/ family console. It's a social thing where the 360 is for a rainy day in the house. Different activities all together.

Sony didn't do shit to Dreamcast. Sega did it to themselves like always. How the fuck you have a superior console and let the competition take your sales because your bitch ass refuses to properly market and advertise your own hardware? Sega was being run by some real dumbasses back then. They had online gaming before anyone else...and I'm talking the Genesis even though the Dreamcast refined it into what it has become today.

I was thinking about copping Left 4 Dead on the PC because I have a pretty nice system from Alienware. I haven't played a game on the PC since old school Doom. Do you have to use the keyboard and mouse to play?
Games/exclusives are equal quality for both systems. For what you get with the ps3 its a good deal. M$ is selling more because ppl have to buy 2, 3 of them shits. Not because its the better system but because they already have a catalogue of 360 games at that point. Good thing Sony makes other things besides video game systems

Wow the games are mediocre but you playing left 4 dead and its on the 360. Conan is a ok game. For a RTS try end war.

Nope, there's a gamepad option within the game. And if you do use a gamepad i'd recommend using an xbox 360 controller. The option was made with it in mind.
If you have any kind of decent pc i'd highly recommend playing it, especially an alienware. The look and sound is great. I can even play it on my laptop that has an intel integrated graphics accelerator at medium settings. The graphics and sound are great.
I run a 9600GT, 2 gigs of 800mz, and 2 cores at 2.5 each and I can run at 1680x1050 everything max smoothly.

It's not an exclusive, it's a multi-platformer and the only way i'd get it on the 360 is if my pc couldn't run it. Better on pc.

I had my system for about 2 years before getting the Red Ring. I only experienced it once. The video was freezing and some weird static noise was coming through the speaker. I called up M$ and they sent me a new console.

anyway gotta co-sign sega fukkin up yet again. they fucked up on the Saturn (which was better than ps 1) and they fukked up on dreamcast which was better than ps2. they let bad mgmt and piracy kill the dreamcast. i still play my saturn and dreamcast till this day. they both kick ass when it comes to fighting games.
