3 years ago I would have tripped about her reffering to herself as colored. 2 years ago I met a cat from WV and we were talking and he talked about a particular colored guy he worked with. Without going off on him as many Black people would I explained that "colored" is a term that is not used anymore and it actually offends Black people not from WV. He took it in stride and we were cool. 3 months later we were talking and he said "col...Black" He learned. In some parts of the country certain things are accepted.

What a dumb bitch. The bill is 165.00 bucks? That means the tip is about 25 bucks divided by 4. Period. Most people already know the protocol in a restaurant. This bitch gets no sympathy from me. I'm curious as to how eating at "finer establishments", and maturation go hand in hand. Anybody can eat anywhere. Anybody can tip what they want to tip.
Whats a fine establishment anyways? I consider Tavern on the Green, and Mr. Chow's garbage compared to Popeyes and Wendy's.
The problem with people in America is that there's too much emphasis on whats socially acceptable and what it isn't. You've been trained to believe that when you do not tip, people will judge you as frugal or cheap.
Personally, I don't see the big deal in tipping. And I've worked in food service on many accounts. If you depend on people's tips to make your bills meet at the end of the month, and you don't like it, then you need to find another job.

What makes it of higher quality? Cause it's dressed and decorated well? You can get that same pasta dish at an Olive Garden or a Romano's for 1/5th lesser the cost.
