One thing , you said don’t allow the programs to access the internet (never?). Can I do that in the program setting, or do I have to disconnect from the internet ever time I use it?

i think there is a program for mac that will block the software (whatever software you want) from accessing the internet. on a pc i have a firewall that blocks wahtever i want from getting internet access unless i say so. i give certain programs automatic rights (browser) but all else has to ask for permission.
on a mac i think the program is called Littlesnitch

im pretty sure its free to download.

by the way when you install the adobe premiere, install it as a trial. and then when you run the program for the first time that's when you install the serial. that, and blocking it from internet, should work. keep us posted let me know if it works

by the way with adobe programs you should be able to go to the HELP and there should be an option for NEVER REGISTER. that should help. there should also be an option to cancel automatic updates. look in either TOOLS > OPTIONS or in the HELP while you are in the program (premiere or photoshop or dreamweaver or wahtever adobe program you are running) you need to do it for each program and most other programs should have that option too (microsoft programs, etc)

good lookin :dance::dance: the key in the archive worked and i havent transferred 1,000 songs yet ...but i know in the trial version it stops at 100...and if i do come across a better program i will let you know

grey goose good looking out butb a friend of mind told before i read your post that since i have vista to go to the windows defender site and hit "more security software" and then chose
Windows Live OneCare safety scanner. yo never thought it would work because vista is so unstable but the malware is gone and am happy like a muthafuka!:dance::dance::dance:

Vista Ultimate and/or Vista basic

I was trying to install Vista on a harddrive that was wiped clean. And later found that the person didn't have the restore disk...so I had to get the windows vista recovery disk just to install vista (ultimate/black) because I found that you can't install an operating system without it (from Dos). Or I would need a version of Vista that can boot and install from Dos.

I wouldn't care if it was XP (SP3) that could do it. I need something that will get this person's Acer Laptop back up and running.:(:(:(

Note: the person originally had Vista Basic on their laptop.

Please assist me on this. I am trying to get ready and take the GMAT's to go to grad school.I am not the brightest computer person. I need some assistance after down Loading some of these files. I down loaded a bunch of these rapid share files (winrar files) which contained 4 CD's. I am not show how to go about bringing all the files together so I can put it on a CD. I dont know the process of accomplishing this. Also what kind of CD would I put it on after because the files are huge (about 1.2GB per CD)

simple right click on the first file, then choose EXTRACT HERE or EXTRACT TO FOLDER

if you want those files you have to put them on a dvd. a dvd will hold like 2 of those cd's. i mean im sure you can figure it out.
