I haven't been on that shit for years. Was the best option back in the day for movies, and music.

Used it for all of 4 days then gave up. Thank goodness for the likes of bittorent and these days, rapidshare among others.

Damn its been like two years. I used to have all the new shit back in the day off Mirc. Movies, music, porn passwords. I probably downloaded most of my music archive from there.

Still use it from time to time for fresh porn passes, but as far as grabbing any sort of music, movie, etc...it's torrents or rapidshare now.

my problem with it was that everyone could leech from you, but wouldn't share SHIT.

i got into torrents early, so they replaced the newsgroups and IRC/MIRC.

I never liked playing those games to get on a dudes server to download shit. Remember that shit? Somebody would open a server then you have to find the password in some fucked up time period in order to log on... and you always worry about being hacked.

Not since yousendit, rapidshare, megaupload and sendspace :dunno:

I have it on my computer, but I haven't used it in like three or four years

Hated it never could get it to work cause I had a mac and motherfuckaz used to rub that shit in our faces....shit was like a inside joke when it came to sharing files...napster and limewire hit the scene and I never worried about it.

Damn, i miss IRC, when they shutdown dalnet that kinda killed it for me, efnet was ok but had nothing on dalnet. 1st time i was able to understand how to use it was when Dreamcast got ripped and i downloaded Chu Chu Rocket (about 30mbs) took like an hour.

Pretty much u had to use IRC to download shit back then, Rapidshare and shit like that wasnt around NO Sites would host files for you for free, except I-Drive which sucked becasue they had limits and it was hella slow like 30k max. Newsgroups have always been around but i never learned to use them till after dalnet closed.

was decent back in the day, the learning curve was kind of steep because yo uhad to know the commands as you had to manually type them in

Was real good for dancehall. If you could get into groups like JAH and VOD it was a treasure chest.
