the civil rights march and protests didn't wait for a democrat to get into office that wasn't part of the plan..they did what they had to regardless of whos president.
thats why i said that attitude you expressed is pussified...it doesn't demand answers from whoever is in charge...ONLY THE BLACK PERSON.
would these questions even be raised if hillary was the nominee?
Hardly. It's not my attitude. My attitude is do what you want. In this situation and any. I simply expressed how I believe many others view the situation. I think its obvious that I'm right because if I wasnt we wouldnt be having this conversation right now. Would these questions be asked if it was Hilary? Who knows. Should they be asked? Sure.
Should they be asked of McCain? Sure
Should they be asked of any candidate now and future? Sure.
Will they? Who knows. If they are asked this election Obama will get the bulk of them. Which in some ways makese sense because blacks are investing their hopes in him. However I do agree with you about asking these issues to all candidates. It would be great if people practiced that. Heck even you could go and hold up a banner at a McCain rally just like those other guys did for Obama. Most wont though and they wont for the reasons that I listed. They don't care about McCain so they don't try to invest anything into him at all. It's short sighted.
I'm not here to disagree with you because I don't disagree with you. I simply answered the question to your thread with the answer that I feel is the truth.
