*!*!*!* For my Comic Heads: What Movie Should DC Make Next *!*!*!*

That's not new though. Blade, Batman and X-Men all got makeovers for their movies.

They were able to do it, while sticking to the characters old identity, the problem is with characters like Shazam and Wonder woman, to darken them down they would lose their connection to their comic book character.
Ask yourself would you pay to see a movie with a guy looking like this?

I might not but my
5 year old would flip to see a kid turn into that much the same way I did to see Prince Adam turn into a guy with a funky chestplate and furry underwear. Captain Marvel has always been more kid-centric than the rest (there's a talking tiger and one of his enemies is a worm for crying out loud) so maybe mentioning him along with Wonder Woman and such isn't the best comparison.

I get what you're saying I just don't think everything's gotta be Dark Knight Returns

'xactly thats why I think a CGI movie for DC characters would make more money for them. Who knows perhaps more that Marvel in the long run also.

Catwoman ( oh yeah Halle already fucked up that one ). Well in that case I think a movie featuring the Teen Titans would be cool.

If DC would be willing to dirty their characters up a bit. Then I would throw Green Arrow into the mix. But he would have to be REALLY REALLY dirty.

Like no tights, fishnets, trick arrows, none of that silver age bullshit. They could take a page from the Punisher movie, put Arrow into real world settings against everyday villains instead of supervillains.

Oddly enough, Yes.

Name is Christopher Kent or Chris Kent. Something along those lines.

In the comics, He's not a bastard son of Superman. He's the foster son of Lois and Clark. I knew after they came up with that Kid in Superman Returns that DC was gonna try to find a way to give Lois and Clark a kid.

Chris Kent (Lor-Zod) is a fictional Kryptonian in the DC Comics Universe, who first appeared in Action Comics #844 (2006) by Richard Donner, Geoff Johns, and Adam Kubert, the first part of the Action Comics story arc "Superman: Last Son." It is revealed that Chris is the biological son of General Zod and Ursa.

Following the events of "Superman: Last Son", Chris remains in the custody of Lois and Clark as their foster son.

* Lor-Zod's adoptive name, Christopher, is likely an homage to the late actor, Christopher Reeve. Reeve played the role of Superman in four feature films and passed away in 2004 due to complications from paralysis.

* Lor-Zod is analogous to Jason White, the son of Superman and Lois Lane from the 2006 film, Superman Returns.

Think about it. He's really a Teen Ager who says Shazam! and becomes Captain Marvel. Then he has a Supporting cast.
The Movie would have to appeal to kids if they plan on writing the story around Billy and how he Became Captain Marvel.

1> Static Shock(huge mcduffie fan!)
2> Flash (his comedy would work well to draw in non-comic fans)
3> Green Lantern but I want Kyle not Hal, and Parallax will make a good 3rd movie if played right, with flash backs and such
4> The Question
5> Teen Titans

But DC lack villans they are to comical or aliens and aliens take to much story build up to work in a movie without being cheesy.

I'd see Green Latern, but I don't know about the rest.

poor Aquaman...

Flash
Green Lantern has the potential for a franchise
Wonder Woman can be done, just try and remember Xena
Aquaman they will fuck it up but make Aquaman anti-hero/villian like Riddick and have him go to war with humans and make us question just how much of a ''bad'' guy he is when it is US that are fucking with this guys shits i dunno some bullshit like that :D

I rather watch a Xena movie  Wonder Woman will never work.

Shazam would be a smash if it was geared toward the kids, they'd make money hand over fit and he'd become a new Superman for this generation if they did it right.

also that Green Arrow movie "Supermax" is coming. With him being locked up with the criminals.......................................................

You're talking about the impossible.

Green Lantern is a trap, y'all... the logic of a ring that can do ANYTHING but doesn't work on yellow is going to be real hard for an audience to buy... I also have misgivings about the Flash though they're harder to explain.

I like Sandman... but I like the gas-mask wearing old school version.

The Question could work... if he could keep his own identity, without getting confused with the Shadow and The Spirit.

Wonder Woman could be good, just stay away from the stupid shit, the invisible plane and all that. The lasso is also dangerous. Think purer mythology.

Green Arrow might be interesting... but these super-rich super heroes already have two archetypes with Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark.

Death... The High Cost of Living would have to be done very small... In general, the Endless are not going to bring in Batman and Spider-Man money, but they wouldn't require those type budgets either.

Supergirl might work on TV... Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer more than Smallville... with some Angel type-badassness thrown in.
