What settings are there to change anyways? The only thing that pisses me off is that guys will miss wide open layups - once i had a fast break and deron williams blew the layup. A couple times I had him get to the rim and fuck up - we know Deron can finish, and he can ball.

Also what pisses me off, is how someone can double the post player with a pg, and still make it back out in time to guard my PG after I kick it out. Those are things that are gameplay. No fixing will help that. Also lag is an issue, but that cannot be avoided.

During the beginning of the league there were a lot of complaints about too many layups and dunks being made. I still dont understand because the default settings are the same as when you play quick matches. Why would they be made more frequently during league matches than regular games?
Anyway Fifth joined up with the commish and they adjusted the sliders. The game actually became a little harder.

I still dont understand the logic of your timeout rule (maybe because I use auto). Do you think people neglecting to call timeouts during the first half has a prominent effect on the game?

you not the only one i got guys who can't hit open jumpshots point blank layups...meanwhile my opponent can hit three's 10ft behind the 3pt line with a man who is 4inches taller then him:lol:

because i sent him a message during the game and it continued into the next game. people conveniently forget if no one says anything.
 
yo commish give the cavs owner the win for the third game...network kicked us out after the 3rd quarter. I forgot what the rules are but he a sizable lead i wasn't coming back from.

Just some suggestions for next league syd up to you what you use after all it's your league of course. 0 for rebounding so you have to board for yourself. Once a rule is in place suspension for not following or complaining about the rule. 3 game suspension of top player this can be enforced by watching the boxscore. Longer suspensions if repeat offender.
 
Damn this playoff looks like it's a train wreck! I was really hoping it went well for you guys but frustration is getting the best of some players! Well with all that said and done! I officially the new head coach of the Lakers! YAY! :dance:

You know what I wont doubt him because I think some team are not for everybody, Dude with the Spurs should of been in the top 5 standing but he was way at the bottom, so maybe he can carry that team better than I can. Tell him I'll see him there!

Yeah I joined since I didnt make BGOL playoffs to keep my game warm, I picked up the Jazz cause again Suns were taken. So far other people been playing but I can find anyone in the lobby yet. But I'll let you know the progress. Seems like a decent league though, 8min quarters and Hall of Fame settings.

The league I played in with the Suns was the UnitedLeagues.com. That one I joined through the 2KForum. But I think I wanted to join another league through OperationSports as the Suns but I never heard back from the League owner.

Ahhhhhh. That explains a lot. Is it possible for them to say what the sliders are? And if the sliders are adjusted to give home court an advantage?

I don't know if the sliders have been posted, but that can make a huge difference, if someone knows which sliders have been adjusted to what degree. Have ballhandling sliders and reach in sliders been adjusted? I have seen players just lose the ball too easily, and have the ball knocked out (Carlos boozer isn't gonna get the ball knocked out on two consecutive possessions while posting up).

As for the timeouts, if one team doesn't call timeouts, the game is affected. For starters, the game rules for timeouts are use them, or lose them. Three will be lost automatically at the start of the fourth. It's done to keep the game more competitive.

Keep this shit going. You got props from me how you been running it on here from what I've seen in my limited time, and I hope to be a part of the new one. The biggest reason I haven't played online in years is because people cheat at all costs to win, and that just turned me off.

im lovin the league......

I have minor complaints about my understanding of certain things, but I will abide by the rules.

this is the only league ive ever played in where the MVP was named at the end.
 
Damn we got a rival league now!? Hov you leavin the league or something? Goooooollly...Lets just finish this one. I do like some of their rules but some of it seems a lil outlandish. We can keep our settings and adopt some of those rules and I think we will have a perfect mix.

of course not. but i am gonna establish my own and play in others. I think i agree with some of the rules but according to what the players do in real life shaq does not double and he don't come out on picks but garnett does and so does ben wallace. I think i like the double teaming, man defense and zone rules they have
 
Yo I just beat number 2 and number 201 respectively. Im getting better. After taking that L I wanted to come up with some new defensive scheme. I am now as good as I can get I feel. My defense has evolved. I can defend the pick and roll now and I know how to stop the paint activity that killed me so many times. I also learned how to defend that bomb the ball down the court business. Im ready for my next game. Sorry to the other elites that I let down by losing but Like i always say you learn more from a loss than you do with a win. I CANT wait to play my next game. Im gonna really put a hurting on him for beating me and then making me wait.
I guarantee a win in atlanta!
