Fellow members of the BGOL NBA 2K8 league it is with a heavy heart I report to you an incident of bitchnigary. First and foremost 15th is one of the people in this league who I respect as a player.
Earlier today the commish sent me an email stating there was was too much quitting and dropping going on so he would start a new rule, the one above in red. I logged into this thread and saw the same rule posted several times also. Its fair to say that every active member of the league knows the rule.
I attempted to play 15th twice tonight. During the first game I was up about 20 at the end of the first quarter when the game disconnected. Shit happens, its not the first and wont be the last time one of our leagues games drop. I linked up with 15th in the lobby again and we got into a heated match. He played much better this time around and the match was somewhat competitive.
I was up 23 in the 4th quarter with 2 minutes to go then connection dropped. I sent 15th an email reminding him of the rule and asked him to take an L so I could get my win. Its as simple as starting a game then quiting it. We met up in the lobby and he sent me a game invite. The game starts and this dude starts to adjust his defense and play books
. I got on the mike and let him know I wasn't interested in playing another game and just wanted him to quit so I could move on. He continued to make adjustments.It became disturbingly obvious that he was going to pretend the last disconnect didn't happen. One of our most straight laced members was going to break the rules. I decided to quit immediately rather than playing another long tedious game. That way I wouldn't have to play him or take a loss for leaving.
I harbor no ill feelings against 15th and this is all based on principle. I only put it out here because I want this incident to be documented. I respect all the rules of this league and hold all other members to the same standard.

Nah I didn't quit any of my games. All night long its been a fight to complete games because of server errors. I've never once quit ever in this or any other game check my vip.
