BGOL (as well as most black guys) is notorious for hating when they see a black woman with a white guy. Most don't realize how racist they sound. In a day where it shouldn't matter what race a person dates, many still harp on the issue. Two main questions I have are Why does it matter? Is it our fault?
At a time when black men seem to be proud of the wrong things, hustling; balling; thugging; pimping women for money; not working or not having to work; having a lot of kids like it is some kind of contest; getting a bunch of women pregnant at the same time; not taking any type of responsibility for themselves and playing "The Blame Game" where nothing is their fault, many black men have begun to wonder why so many black women are dating white men. For years I have seen black men cheat on a good girl for available pussy. The guy acts like it is a dollar on the ground and it is his duty to pick it up. We live in a day where it is damned near forced upon us by TV, the media and our friends to get as much pussy as humanly possible. It doesn't matter if you are in a relationship or not to many of us. We are taught to be man-whores and many of us don't close the book. Many of us act like boys in high school. "Game", "creapin" are all things that should have been finished in high school, but many of us are still playing the game.
Most women want a stable man who is good to them. I have known many black women who have started dating white men when they have dated only black guys their whole lives. They say, "He just treats me better." Most say that they didn't do it to spite black men. It's just that they were tired of playing games and the black men that they dated were all about the games. So she tried another option and it was better for her. Not because he was white, but that he treated her better and didn't play as many game or didn't try to impress his friends by being a man-whore.
Did we do this to ourselves? Who are we trying to impress...really? I know guys that cheat. Sometimes I even know their girlfriends/wives. Every guy is hoping not to get caught, but by doing it didn't he fuck up already? Many of us live in a "bitches ain't shit" mindset". Even though it is only a song and only talking about particular women, I don't thing some black men were smart enough to read through the lines. To that guy, "Bitches ain't shit" spoke to all women, and that is where they are wrong.
What about commitment? Many black men run from it like it is gonna bite. I once knew a guy who had 3 kids by this one female, but he didn't want to get married because he wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. WTF do you call 3 kids? Should black women continue to wait for us or should they move on? Would you go for that bull jive?
I know that this little blog of mine isn't gonna stop many of you or change the way many a black man "does business", but I hope it makes them think. Think about how rare it is to find a good woman. Think about NOT going after "Ms New Pussy" just because you can or it is easy. Think about respecting black women until they give you a valid reason not to. Think that commitment is not the end of the world for you. Think that if a woman wants you to contribute doesn't mean she is a bitch, but that she wants you to pull your weight as she is pulling hers. If the choice between white men and black men, most black women would without question take the black men. Unfortunately, nowadays it seems to be between white men and grown black boys. Can you blame her for her choice with those options?
